Would you trade our lottery pick for him? Of course other pieces would have to be added to make it work. Maybe throw in Nash?

I didn't vote, I am hesitant about his knee injures and the way he plays so recklessly makes me fear future injuries. That play at the end of the regular season where he jumped up to knock the ball out of the hoop from the shot that happened after a timeout was called and ended up falling on his ass was one of the dumbest things I have seen on the floor. His decision making as a PG leaves a lot to be desired.

only way i see this working is if Pau agrees to go to OKC in a sign and trade since Pau does something OKC really needs.Pau and whoever Lakers pick at 6? for Westbrook and whoever OKC picks at 22 and 29

They made their decision on Westbrook when they dealt Harden, the guy would have to be a total distraction to be out the door. OKC knows their game is simple, but its efficient with two guys that can get their own shot and hit it. If somehow they take this, LA would be getting a steal. I would assume Love would come play for his old UCLA buddy (I hope their buddies) and it would be a great pairing and story. Could even keep Kobe an extra year. Would be a great scenario, but highly unlikely.

No way they trade Westbrook. If anything they'll fire Brooks and see if another coach can get them over the hump.

In all fairness I don't think Brooks or Westbrook are the problem. The West is just loaded top 1-10 and they need a better bench.

They should have traded Westbrook for CP3 when he was on the market. And they should have paid Harden. Then they could have really gone WWE on us and say, "not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5... "

With Ibaka out, they'll lose and look to make some sort of change.

I doubt it will be with core player personnel, however - despite the doubt, Durant and WB have played well and Ibaka was a stud. If anything, the change will come to the supporting cast or the coaching

I think Presti's Harden decision will have him overly cautious with changing the core

The problem appears to be a matter of fit with Durant & Westbrook. Barring a Phil Jackson type coach coming up with a way to make them fit, the best fit is to put complimentary pieces around Durant. One idea that struck me was:

Lakers #1 to Minnesota
Kevin Love to OKC
Westbrook to Lakers

With KLove, OKC can put Perkins on the bench and play Ibaka at C. They were arguably more efficient with Jackson running the point during Westbrook's injury. Love would give them Westbrook's scoring with more floor spacing and better rebounding.

Lakers would get a dynamic shot creator "Alpha" type star.

Minnesota would get a lottery pick instead of seeing Love waltz away for nothing.

No way, the Thunder are already eating it with the Harden trade.

I'd trade the pick for him, sure, but OKC wouldn't!
