Wes
Randle
Hill
Bench
Young
Boozer
Nash
Henry
Davis
Clarkson
Kelly
Sacre
Nash, Kobe, and Boozer shouldn't be on the court together, too bad defensively. Boozer and Kobe could work at times if Davis is at C but i prefer the young athletic guys around Kobe. |

The team appears as it can score.
Lin/Nash/Clarkson
Kobe/Henry
Young/Johnson
RAndle/Davis/Kelly
Boozer/Hill/Sacre
If somehow if they can be made by some magic potion
into an average defensive team.
A rim protecting big man would make this team into a
contender. Just not tough enough defensively. |

How about we trout out the all defensive team for the 2014-2015 season:
Pg: Steve Nash
Sg: Jeremy Lin
Sf: Kobe Bryant
Pf: Julius Randle
C: Carlos Boozer
But on the side note, I really like that lineup for offense |

I also like that and think it might be the starting lineup for real.

I was just anticipating the harsh backlash id get from everyone. But on offense you have four get to the basket guys in that lineup. It will definitely keep the defense honest |

Hill/Davis/Boozer/Sacre
Boozer/Randle/Kelly
Johnson/Henry/Young/Kelly
Bryant/Young
Lin/Bryant/Nash/Clarkson
I think I'd prefer to start Sacre, play him 8 minutes, then run 20 minute stints with Jordan Hill and Ed Davis.
Boozer can switch PF/C, never SF.
Randle, can't switch.
Kelly can rotate between PF/SF. Being nearly 7' and having triple threat skills gets you far.
There's no excuse not to play Bryant within a 30-35mpg restriction with Wesley Johnson, Xavier Henry, and Nick Young.
Henry provides better energy off the bench.
Young provides better scoring punch off the bench.
I don't see Clarkson as a SG.
I do think Kobe will play some minutes at PG, especially if Young and Wesley/Xavier are in. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

Now that the roster seems pretty much set, it is a bit easier:
C - Hill - He starts, not coming off the bench at that salary.
PF - Boozer - No way do they start Randle to open the season, he is a baby...they will bring him along slowly over the course of the season.
SF - Johnson - I originally had Henry here as I think he is the better offensive player, but Johnson might be a better fit with the other starters.
SG - Bryant - Just stay healthy Mamba. Limited minutes, 31 max. Let Nick Young play the other 17 minutes at SG and another 10 minutes at SF or some other spot.
PG - Nash - Yes, that is where I am opposite everyone. If Nash is healthy I think Byron starts him and plays Lin more minutes total off the bench. Nash plays first 9 minutes, gets 6 minutes to open the second half in the third quarter and if healthy maybe 6 more minutes in the 4th quarter.
Lin plays all the other minutes here in the regular rotation. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

I'll take a stab at it. Pretty the same lineup being floated around.
C - J. Hill
PF - C. Boozer
SF - W. Johnson
SG - K. Bryant
PG - J. Lin
I don't think Nash will be ready by training camp. |

The official lineup would be (based on the whiteboard image, accurate as of Jul 25 but subject to change):
1. LIN、NASH、CLARKSON
2. BRYANT、HENRY
3. SWAGGY P、JOHNSON、RANDLE
4. BOOZER、KELLY、DAVIS、RANDLE
5. HILL、SACRE
Interestingly, Randle is put between SF and PF.
Either they have not decided on his position yet or Randle may play SF/PF depending on the situation. |

Same... I'd rather have him as a super sub. We need a defensive 3. |
