|
|
I Believe Paul George needs to be the undisputed #1 option in IND to be successful. He can't be that unless Lance and Hibbert willingly take a backseat which I really don't see them doing in IND . How about this proposed trade.
Hibbert and Stephenson to LA for #7 and S&T Gasol since we're waay under the cap we can absorb that. Hibbert becomes the #2 option behind Kobe and Stephenson is a 2 and Kobe at 3, with Kobe's reduced minutes they will basically be carrying the offensive load this season and they can keep us competitive. With one year with us Love sees how competitive we are with those two and signs with us the next off season
Why Indiana would consider? see above they've invested a lot in Paul George and need him to be the superstar he's shown glimpses of, In Pau they get a seasoned vet who's won a ring, has poise and can play Pick n Pop in their offense and offers some low post presence. Hes 7'1 so gives them size and doesn't need to bang, with Mahinimi backing him up and scola/West doing the dirty work
With Hibbert and Stephenson gone the pecking order becomes clear and George gets majority of the touches now
And Pau in a new environment with less responsibility will revitalize his career _________________ "I didn't mean to walk in the shower with him. Yeah, I walked in the shower. I'm not a homosexual, but Kobe - he had no clothes on." - Ron Artest |

No (bleep) way, just no. They want us to take Hibbert off their hands? They give us picks (and not (bleep) ones), we don't give them our 7. Hibbert is massively overpaid, and sucks. He was massively overrated before and benefitted a ton being on an athletic team with good perimeter defense to hide his slow feet, but his rebounding has always been pathetic for a man his size. |

Hibbert is bad but I wouldnt mind Hibbert working with KAJ if the price was right to bring him in. He jsut needs a fire lit under his butt to get this guy going!!! Get him a hollywood model GF, KAJ, and Kobe and watch him turn into a str8 killer... LOL jk, he sucks more than hoover vaccums. |

Pau is way better, probably equal in the soft category, I'd rather have Monroe! |

Hibbert needs to learn how to rebound before he has the right to be unhappy. |

You guys act like Cs like that can be found with ease. They can't. I could see Mitch taking a look at Hibbert in a S and T. He's taken his chances on a struggling big man before. |

People have been regurgitating this crap for years now (See Kwame Brown and Andrew Bynum). If a guy sucks upstairs in the head, He sucks period. Regardless if he's 7'2 or 5'2. _________________ Whenever the Lakers benefit all of a sudden rules need to be changed and trades need to be blocked.

Please God NO. This guy is the definition of garbage. He is the most overrated player in the NBA. He must have paid someone off to be an All Star.
His per game stats last year were:
29.7 Minutes
43.9% FG - Yes as a center
6.6 Rebounds - 7'2 playing 30 MPG with no other rebounding bigs on your team
1.1 Assists
2.2 Blocks
10.8 Points
In what world are those all star numbers |
