Voynov's issues were mental, not physical. Almost as if there was some neurological bug he contracted from the Russian Olympic team. |
Yeah, I just couldn't quite figure out what it was. At first I thought fatigue but then it looked like his motor was running fine. Maybe mental fatigue? |
I've got it on some pretty good intel that he was hurt - team just didn't want to say anything. |

Ah those wonderful bitter Philly fans.
Dean should have Carter and Richards come up to the podium with him when they announce their draft pick. |

Philly made out fine in those trades and most of their fans agree, they do miss their guys though. _________________

Yeah it was definitely a win-win deal for both. I've noticed that the defensive butthurt hits all-world levels though when Carter and Richards are mentioned in terms of their two cups. Would be hilarious if those two trotted up to the stage with the Cup while Dean announced the pick. |

I'm confused with this draft stuff, where is the terrible pop music and over production? _________________

I still don't understand why the Canucks changed their jersey colors. They used to have the best uniforms in the NHL, now they have one of the worst. _________________

Oh man TSN talking about the choking Sharks and having to open the season in Staples for the banner raising.
Awesome. _________________

What a joke. NBC's crappy network cuts away from the draft to show worthless track and field before the Kings pick. BOO! |

Thirdly, we'd like to thank Philly for giving us Williams, Richards, and Carter.
Adrian Kempe eh. I have no idea who these guys are...2nd youngest player in the draft, left wing. _________________

That's probably one of the worst places for him to develop., |

Kempe is a bit of a surprise. I would have thought Dougherty just to hear Miller call Doughty-Dougherty. Otherwise I thought Lemieux, MacInnis or Quennville. |

from reading the scouting reports he sounds like a King or Clifford with skill and skating ability. |

He sounds like a Kings type of player from the scouting reports. I just hope he can bury the puck when given the chance. I like Trevor Lewis, but him and King have stone hands when it comes to shots on goal. |
