Equally great job pretending he was a traffic cone on defense |

Serena Winters @SerenaWinters
Julius Randle: "Fourth quarter was garbage, I blame myself for that, and I’ve got to be a better leader than that." (on @SpectrumSN).

I floated this idea last night...
Randle at pg?
Granted his 3pt shot is not there yet, but if he is granted the role I think he would be successful.
Giannis plays point as well and is not really looking for the 3pt shot all the time.

I just want to try it as an experiment...We are doing everything else haha
I don't think a lot of folks predicted the Rockets to be a great team...
Its having vision and a system in place where players know there role on the court. We don't have that right now.
Randle could avg near triple double numbers given that role IMO. |

Just trying to picture our big PG crossing over his man and trying to make a spastic (apologies for using this word) layup. If we thought Fisher was out of control with some of his layups ... _________________ “Properly read, the bible is the most potent force for atheism ever conceived.”

I believe we can't win 10 with our roster without Julius running the show. Your optimism with him at PG makes me jealous. |

If you go on the Rockets board and look at there early season predictions on there overall record...A lot of them were saying .500 or 35 wins...haha
Randle could be unstoppable at PG who could guard him? Puts the ball in his hands to make plays which would take him away from his awful post ups. |

Well hes already got some trip dubs this year... and that lineup is based on the plaeyesr we have this year obviously....We could always build a team more suited for Randle at that position.
And don't act like Young cant hit 3's or Mozgov cant finish on pick and rolls. |

Ya'll said you wanted a guy that has the gene in him to try to put the team on his back and try to force a win.
You saw it last night for 80% of the game from Julius Randle.
Scary to think he's 22 and his game is still evolving. Once he's got all that down, he's gonna be scary. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

I thought it was an "interesting" image last night, right after JR scored and elbowed the two rockets and they were writhing on the floor in pain.
I wonder if anyone could make a poster/meme of it with the words "Take no prisoners..."
Julius was a beast last night. |

The offense grinds to a halt when Julius is playing the facilitator role. He just gets the ball at the top of the key and does the dribble handoff while he sets a moving screen on that guys man. I don't think that's an ideal offensive set unless its a late game situation where you need a 3. |

I wasn't saying run the offense through Julius in the halfcourt. I said make him the PG...Two different roles..
If we get the ball in his hands and let him push it up the floor and get into early offense I think he can be very successful. |

Thats probably the aspect of JR's game I enjoy the most. He's Clubber Lang out there, I love it.

He does the Clubber Lang grunt though on his layups. Expends a lot of energy doing it. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

I swear he's the only person I've ever audibly heard on the court that wasn't screaming for a foul or talking
its on practically every attempt too |

It will work better if you just have everyone but the center push the ball ASAP, and look to enter the ball to Randle in the mid post in the half court set. Designating someone to always bring the ball up is a waste. |

I actually think Designating an individual to be the primary ball handler can be a good thing. They know exactly what there role is...Bring the ball up get others involved, make plays...
If you told Randle Your primary job is ball handler and point guard I'm sure he would focus on getting more assists and teammates involved...It would also eliminate the need for him to post up . |
