Also, what does your job in the Navy have to do with anything? Lol I work with sailors all the time and you're straight up lying if you say you didn't slack off at any time or brought 100% effort every second of every watch
I was going to say something nasty, but I will hold back.
He would say that conditioning might be one of the biggest factors, but also opening up his hips. The guy came off an injury (hip pointer last season), he was tight, his hips were very tight, I could barely stretch him his hamstrings were very tight. Every week I see this guy, he has much more hip mobility, his hamstrings are so much better. There are so many things improving that’s going to help him slide better, move across the court, be able to switch, be able to turn, fire off from all different angles, that’s going to increase his defensive presence, being able to respond, react."

Julius Randle showing off improved jumper at Drew League, talks winning, Lonzo Ball
Enjoy.
I'll admit it, this is the first link I have seen of Randle shooting, most everything I have seen so far in the Randle file has been on his strength and conditioning workouts. Hope the Drew League has helped him with a jumper. The league has changed, and PF's need to be able to hit outside shots. _________________ LAKERS 2019-2020: NBA World Champions!
If Julius perfects that step back... dude will be getting buckets. He can get to that spot on the floor anytime he wants. It'll just be a matter of converting the shot.

I don't think I've rarely seen him actually miss that step back jumper. It's just not a shot you see him use very often in games for whatever reason.

I'm too lazy to look for it. Since apparently you saw them, then why don't you show me videos of him hitting some threes consistently? (2017 summer vids)

This. He's money with that mid ranger. I think it's a symptom of inexperience that he doesn't milk it. I notice it was more of a go to move when Worthy was working with the team early on and he went away from it as James was around less. _________________ It was reminiscent of one of those Most Interesting Man in the World advertisements: "I don't always shoot 6-for-28 from the field, but when I do, I become the youngest player in league history to score 28,000 career points."
Randle put up 28/18/5 today in Drew League, saw him also take it coast to coast on a steal and go for a right hand layup but was fouled, but he looked natural doing it.
He got pissed after he got dunked on and the dude tried it again, so Randle then proceeded to destroy everyone else in the gym from that point on. _________________ How NBA 2K18 failed the All-Time Lakers:

But would rather pay Randle than having to pay Deng and Clarkson who have not even started.
He already did. There's multiple videos of him nailing shot after shot after
after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after shot after....
....and so on.

What did he say about Ball and winning? _________________ Coach Vogel, Kidd, Hollins

Julius looks waaaaaaay faster in transition than ever before. He looks more explosive as well. He also did look pretty comfortable with his right.
He got punked inside by the big man but idk how hard they really try in these games. I'm sure they don't wanna get hurt. Jules did seem to turn it on and take it to another level at the end tho

you can most definitely see the difference in his physique. It's tough to gauge any increased speed/mobility from a couple of plays in a league that is 10x slower than NBA speed. But the baby fat is gone. If he can get an uptick in his quickness/explosiveness, he will be quite the physical specimen at this reduced weight.
Randle was the #4 PF in the league in points per game in transition. A slight increase in athleticism combined with the Lonzo effect could make him a monster in transition. I'm slowly starting to become more and more optimistic about his chances of having a breakout season. The key will be defense of course. His three point shooting would be a bonus, but isn't completely necessary if he shares the frontcourt with another guy that can shoot. Lopez can shoot, and so can Kuzma.
Randle at the 5 with Kuzma at the 4 will run teams off the court. But he has to improve his defense significantly to be able to play the 5 effectively. I will tentatively slip into the Randle bandwagon, in an exit row seat.
