If Bird rights intact, can give him up to the max (which he won't get).

Different from an Early Bird right player, where IIRC, the most you could give is 175% from the year before.

No, I meant with his Bird rights renounced, and just him taking that $4.5m in 2018.

A 120% raise with no Bird Rights.

What's the most they can offer Lopez after signing PG13 and Lebron?

The room exception. They would have to renounce his app. $33 mil cap hold to have space to sign two max FAs.

Not really. They could re-sign Brook first for the room (theoretically) and then the 33m cap hold is gone.

(unless my understanding of the room exception is off...and we can't get the room exception unless we have to renounce Brook...calling CBA experts)....

The post said Lopez after two max players.

Okay so much for that pipedream. He's gone.

But thanks.

IIRC you can continue Lopez's Bird rights with the room exception and sign 2 max players. Just have to do the Brook transaction first.

And they would have the room exception before going over the cap? That seems crazy.

This is an excellent article on the many different ways the 2018 off-season can go.

The most important Randle question is....

Will they finally fix his hair, head size, and height in 2k18. Sorry, he just looks so much smaller than some of the 6'10" centers I'm trying to bully, namely Dwight Howard & Al Horford!

😂😂😂

Fresh legs after honeymoon? Are you single bro?

We have fresh legs after 8 years of marriage, after honeymoon we could barely walk

It is a good preparation for a double overtime in back to back situations though.

In 2019 (not 2018) I think we'll have the non-taxpayer MLE of $8.4M to sign any free agent (including Brook).

Funnily enough doing that actually builds testosterone, and other things inside and gets them flowing and it's actually a good idea to go work out afterwards as you'll push harder

Speaking from experience on the matter... I'd say that definitely is the case lol I was actually able to push harder and get more reps in after than before
