How? He just had a 13 pts 20 reb game

Efficiency is down, passing is off.

His passing's going to be off when he has no one to pass to. His efficiency is going to be down when he's the primary coverage on defense for the starting lineup.

Doesn't excuse the turnovers though. I'm not casting major judgments until at least one of Nick/DLO's back.

I'm not casting any judgements. Far as I see it, he is stubbornly playing through an injury

Or it could also be the fact he's the only shot creator in the starting lineup, there's no D-lo, and no Swaggy and there's no consistent three point shooting unless Calderon is feeling his shot but he doesn't look to score very much.

So there's no spacing, there's no Young, there's no Russell, Randle's essentially the only threat in the starting lineup and defenses can play him differently than they can when D'lo and Young are out there.

Playing through being hurt could be a factor too, or it could be all of those things.

And no DLo and swaggy. He was having great chemistry with them.

He has to understand these guys are out and have to stop trying to create plays in half court because he is turning the ball over in an unacceptable fashion.

lol

So you want Mozgof to create plays?

Yes I do know that. I just haven't seen him regressing that much. I think if anything he is trying to do more due to the injuries.

Efficiency is down, passing is off.

I would imagine that Russell and Young were both his primary passing targets and made it easier for him to score.

Last 3 game Julius has shot 66%, 30%, and 50% (the last game). That second game was pretty bad, but not really a sign of regression IMO.

The turnovers have been more of a problem along with him falling back into old habits a bit on defense. Some of the turnovers are just bad passes that young players tend to make, other turnovers have a lot to do with who he's playing with right now. The two guys Julius has the most chemistry with are D'Lo and Nick, and both of them have been out with injuries. Jules also gets a couple of assists a game from dishing to Mozgov but he's been off lately too.

Bolded is absolute truth. He's probably going to struggle until he has some of his shooters in the starting backcourt come back (or emerge in Ingram). He's had a great season. He'll come back.

Randle had a horrible game before those bricked free throws. That was just the icing on the cake.

calm down guys, its early in the season and he's still young and prone to silly mistakes.
