I don't understand why people are even entertaining this "report"

does nobody else find it funny that this @Schultz_Report guy is the ONLY person reporting on this Bledsoe to Lakers deal? lol. You mean to tell me this guy is THAT MUCH into the know that NOBODY else knows anything about it or has any updates?

Some people here are so desperate for news that they bite on the first tweet out there disregarding its legitimacy.

It's so ridiculously easy to start a rumor and have people run with it on twitter which'll ultimately leak here.

Jeremy Lin or Steve Nash is your starting point guard for the 2014 - 2015 season. Just. Accept. It lol

You answered your own question.

any word on whether Randle is being invited to the USA Select team? Smart and McDermott were invited so they are inviting rookies...I think it would be incredibly helpful for Randle to practice with and against the very best of Team USA.

Good question, just looked it up. Nope he wasn't

Harrison Barnes
Trey Burke
Jimmy Butler
Draymond Green
Tim Hardaway Jr.
Tobias Harris
Doug McDermott
Victor Oladipo
Mason Plumlee
Miles Plumlee
Marcus Smart
Dion Waiters
Cody Zeller

Team USA was probably scared he'd bully people in practice

Hah! That's unfortunate, it would have been a great experience for him and his development. Not sure why Barnes and Waiters got invites..

Agreed. I hope he considers this a snub and uses it as a chip on his shoulder. It's obvious why Exum and Wiggins weren't invited. But Parker and Randle should be pissed

Yeah, considering Coach K is the head coach for USA it's really surprising Jabari didn't get an invite. I guess if they invited Jabari and Randle the team would have been really light on guards but still I don't see any harm in inviting more guys than you need.

Maybe Parker and Randle turned it down? Idk.

I know Burke was invited because MCW is hurt

If Randle were not a laker, would we be as high on him?

I would. I was high on Randle months before the draft and was ecstatic when he fell to the Lakers.

Yes. I said before the draft that the order should be Embiid and then Randle.

it's the "select" team. The team that the real Team USA scrimmages against in practice

Yes.

Any of the top 7 players drafted would have been a great piece to add to a team.

always have loved his combo of off the dribble skill + banger in paint + touch in paint + athleticism. super attractive combo no matter what jersey

he was my top 2 or 3 fav player in the draft. probly my fav player of his class coming out of high school

Gordon is still my number 1 pick from this year's draft, Orlando was wise to be bold and seize the day.

The Lakers getting Randle at 7 was a steal, he is the guy I wanted 2nd most knowing we wouldn't get Wiggins, Paker or Embiid.

How many 6'9'', 260 lbs basketball players can handle the ball like a guard, post moves with speed, quickness and strength are in the league, let alone rookies? We are lucky he fell to us.

The reason why I am high on Randle is he has skills I haven't really seen in a guy that big. It is crucial that he has a good coach right off the bat. I thinking great coaching can expedite his game greatly.

Smart and McDermott are there because they were also invited last year and practiced with Team USA as the only college players.

Saw a show yesterday with Rick Fox and Randle. He isn't that much taller than Fox. Hoping that they will put him in the small forward spot instead of power forward.

PG - Lin
SG- Bryant
SF - Randle
PF - Boozer
C- Hill

That should win us a few games!

He cannot play SF until his shooting and ball handling vastly improve. I'd rather see him at PF regardless though. His advantages there are numerous

I wouldn't want Randle at SF the same way I wouldn't want Blake Griffin at SF.
