Full court press most likely.

He hits the jumpers well on that court.

Julius is going to be this years biggest surprise. The talk of letting him walk will end very quickly when people see how well he meshes with Lonzo. Because he's in much better shape, he'll also be able to sustain the intensity that he needs to be great. Book it.

i will be surprised if he develops a jumper, but i don't see it happening anytime soon. hopefully he is much improved on D. i haven't seen anything that would encourage me he can pull it off in nba game. good to see that he got married and has been in the gym non-stop. hope for the best for randle cause i like the dude

Any information about how much Randle has improved this summer would be nice.

I would love to know what his primary goal was in relation to fitness and what his primary goal was in relation to basketball skills in the off season. For example was he focused on strength/endurance and or right hand/shooting/defense and so forth. I know he probably worked in every area at some point but what was the main focus.

I would like to know from his trainer rather Randle has what it takes to dominate games consistently.

I think conditioning will have a huge impact on him. He needs his motor to run at high all the time to be his best self. Judging by the before pictures, he wasn't in tip top shape, now he is.

Actually I look at this as a good thing. There was an identifiable problem that was corrected, his lack of conditioning and excess weight. Now he can flourish.
I think he'll have a big year.

Maybe something related to his diet? What, if anything, did he do differently? What is he eating now he wasn't before, etc.

How long did his broken leg affect his ability to train properly?

What kind of improvement does he expect in terms of stamina?

Can you really 'release the hips'? And how much verticality can you realistically gain with intense training?

Cool.

What's the longest term goal from now, or when they started to the end of the offseason? Will there be any that carry on to the following offseason(s)?

When or how, did he, the trainer, become interested in his work?

It's kind of a two part question but something I'm really curious about myself for workouts.

Question: How long does it take to reach the physique Randle has thus far achieved and what kind of nutrients/meals does he take to retain it?

The hips were one of the most interesting parts I read about. It was a priority with our last Laker trainer as well - he said it was big for Julius. Wonder if his weeks off tightened them back up. I saw it effecting Randle's back his rookie year, so much bending over - back giving out while landing too

When they first met, what was the one area that he wanted to change for the better? Like diet, workout regimen, etc

How body transformation and development of a three point shot kind of reminds me of how Kevin Love did the same thing, only Julius is better off the dribble, plays better d and is way more athletic. He could end up being really good, but still probably just a place holder for LBJ.

Interesting first question. Actually taking yoga for my back, and my back has issues because it's compensating for my hips. I never thought I'd do this.

I'm actually taller after a session.

I guess my question for Jules's trainer is why did he wait until this summer to get into shape? I understand it's a big contract year, but I wonder how his game would have been if he was this devoted to conditioning last year.

Julius is going to be out on the break receiving passes from Zo & finishing with authority. Soon enough he'll be pulling up from 3 with no hesitation. Then he'll be pulling the boards down and going himself not allowing the D to settle and making plays in transition. Man this year is going to be fun!

Didn't Magic say that everyone has to come to camp in shape or they won't play?
