Kevin Love is 6'10 with shoes. Howard is 6'11 with shoes. Randle is 6'9 250 lbs, that's good size for a PF. He's a lot bigger, quicker, and stronger then the players you mentioned. That's what makes him a physical specimen. We haven't seen a player with Randle physical attributes since Lebron and before him Barkley.
I will be watching him on the defensive end in summer camp. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold.
awesome. Thanks for posting that link. _________________ "I don’t give a [expletive] what you say. Good stuff. I pray that he will have a long and successful career wearing the purple and gold uniform. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold.
Julius is something special. Not just on the court but that is a 20 year old kid who has wisdom well beyond 90% of NBA players. Impressed by everything he said in the video, everything he wrote in the article.
Kobe clearly has a fondness for Julius and that says a whole lot about both his talent level and his mental makeup. I cannot wait to see him step into the forefront of this franchise.
Also, can't help notice the mention of Russell and Okafor.... do it, Julius. They should send him to the lotto.

So, does Randle's 14 minutes mean he's officially a Sophomore next year? Blake Griffin was smart enough to go down before the 1st game so he could come back and get ROY.
Why Los Angeles Lakers Fans Should Be Salivating Over Julius Randle's Return
Quote:
At 6’9” and 250 pounds, the left-handed power forward offers an intriguing combination of strength and agility. His progress was already evident during the preseason as he sought to combine a bruising inside game with ball-handling open-court moves
He also has ball handling ability (obviously not PG level, but better than your average PF).
Both of these can make him lethal. Im excited to see this kid grow.. I constantly replay the look he had on his face when he got injured. Hopefully his work ethic can make that disappointment.
