The main thing I'm worried about is his attitude. Not really the stuff about him being unfriendly to fans, but when he doesn't have the ball or isn't on-ball on D, he doesn't seem to consistently contribute with dirty work, hustle, rebounding, etc. Hopefully, he doesn't have that prima donna attitude some players have where when they aren't heavily featured on offense, they don't want to work hard at the intangibles that help win games. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

not me. I saw the hustle. It's more of him remembering to do the fundamentals (boxing out, setting hard screens)
I just don't look too deeply into SPL. It's an experimental situation and remember he had a minutes reduction so he was trying to cram a whole game into 20 minutes.
I do think when the season starts, with offensive weapons like DLO/Clarkson/Kobe, he will have to do the dirty work too, particularly b/c Hibbert will box his man out and the rebound will be Randle's to fight for. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

I'm glad Randle will be going head to head with Bass in practice.
That a guy who's made a living off of "dirty work". _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better”

Not concerned about the hustle either. Just the focus on the basics. He will improve IMO. Randle is going to be very good. Just give it some time.
Not sure where it was posted but a couple of days ago there was a discussion concerning the hustle grades for summer League. If i remember correctly, Randle had the highest hustle rating in the Minny game the above clip came from.

you bastard!
Seriously though, it's pretty nice having our young core players at age 19, 20, and 23 respectively. Much better than 39 y.o. Nash with a 34 y.o Pau, etc. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

A new era
It's hard to believe the Lakers gave Rambler 27million. That has to rank as one of the worst contracts in Lakers history. He was an accident waiting to happen his whole career, especially nearing the end.
I do not want to taint Nash and his credibility but he had 27million reasons to complete that huge contract. _________________ .....

Bummer, Julius will be in Oxnard Saturday at 2:30 but I have a 1:00 football game in Santa Paula so I won't get to meet him. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023.

Never agreed with your criticism of Pau-lina .
But your feelings toward Nash, I've always agreed.
Got no love for that guy. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better”
