Wow with lebron leaving miami bosh will probably end up signing with houston and look at this roster...

PG.Beverly
SG.Harden
SF.scrub
PF.bosh
C.howard

Their 4/5 is the best in the league on O and D.

They'll probably match Parsons, so he'll be their SF

Yeah, but as a fan who cares? If they're not willing to pay, it affects their team. If they are willing to pay, it doesn't affect anything from a fan's standpoint.

Still not convinced that team is good enough to beat Spurs, Thunder or Clippers in a 7-game series.

Bosh will help but the Rockets are giving up they're entire bench for him. It's a question of whether that team will be a draw for FAs to take paycuts to play there.

The lakers paid cash to get Lin and a late round first, all while pretty much handing That diva and the rockets a championship.....WTF? I don't get it....there has got to be something more in this deal!

i am guessing the lakers simply realized that someone would take the deal -- get a first round pick for taking lin for a year. lin's not a bad one year stopgap, and if he turns things around he might even be a decent future piece at a lower price, so if you don't get worked up emotionally about dwight leaving us it's not a bad decision.

It's actually a very good trade for the Lakers. The team upgraded the pg position (Lin is the best pg on the team), got a first round pick, and what did the team give up? People are acting like Kobe was traded for Lin.

Where are all the people that valued first round picks so much? The team gets a pick without even giving up a player and people are whining about it.

Since Lin makes 14+ mil, should be making MLE. We are paying huge for the 1st rounder.

In a couple years this will be looked at like Amare's or Arenas' crappy contracts. Miami is going to be in horrible shape 3 years from now stuck with this contract.
