He wouldn't even look back as all the passengers sank to the bottom of the ocean. He would be off the ship faster than the rats.

love the analogy. _________________ "Now, if life is coffee, then the jobs, money & position in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold & contain life, but the quality of life doesn't change. Sometimes, by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee in it."

Odd tho this thread and the first post might be, it's how I feel too. First sign of adversity and he goes running is not a good look. He's "going home" but I personally doubt that would be the case had Miami won the Finals.
Whatever. Hopefully this gets the FA situation MOVING now, since "what's LBJ going to do???" Has been everyone's excuse for not taking action.

stop with the Lebron hate.
There's really nothing he can do for you to not hate him, is there?
honestly, this is getting ridiculous.

Besides the fact this is not Lakers related, it makes no sense. You're supposed to get off a ship if it's sinking.
If you don't, you die. Silly.

It's hardly as if the Miami ship was "sinking"
LOL at how hard people are missing the point of this thread.

You're never supposed to get off a ship that is sinking?
The whole point of the "ship is sinking" analogy is the point of jumping off it, you know, to save your life.
It doesn't work when you're trying to make the point that you're supposed to stay on it.

I'm aware of the story. I'm not in agreement he should have allowed himself to perish along with the ship.

Wrong. I would still view him as the mercenary that he is. He'd just be helping us at that point. It isn't hard to see his strategy.
You see nothing wrong with it.
I do.

People hating on Lebron are like people hating on Kobe. Appreciate these types of players while we are still able to see them. They are truly great at what they do. Off the court stuff, I would care less.
