this is a great haul by the Lakers, getting Lin, first round pick, and other draft considerations are the best assets the Lakers can get. plus only $8M of $15M will count against the cap.

I am one of the few Lin supporters here at LG for many years non stop!! I never stopped wanting him and years ago believed there was no chance of it happening. I am so happy. I believe you all will come around very quickly to my way of thinking when you see him play with/for us.

Lin is coming home at least. He was born in LA. They could just forget trading Asik to the Pelicans give him to us too.

I likr Lin's aggressivness. Don't like that he's a very ball needy player.
Obviously noy as athletic as Bledsoe. Not as dynamic as Thomas but taller and a better defender.
Where Thomas and Bledsoe seem as near all star caliber players, Lin is only a role player. Not sure I like him over either Bledsoe or Thomas but I sure hope he has it in him to improve and average over 15 ppg next year.
I do like Lin very much, he's got a great presence about him and great intangibles, hope hecan elevate his game as well.
