Can I just put the Harrison twins on the no draft list for outright poor body language?

Or is it just one that is messing it up for both?

Aaron Harrison is OK. Andrew is awful.

It's pretty astounding how bad they've been vs. how highly they were rated.

No draft class is the same.

That's why I'm leery of "#1 PG of his HS Draft class." Could be a very weak crop.

Players make mistakes and can learn from them. I still like Andrew Harrison's game and think it will translate into the league.

1 speed, no lateral shake, straight line drives into the paint to draw fouls. there's just no nuance to his game whatsoever - he's like a bull in a china shop. Has a below average jumper, and him wildly driving full speed into the paint to throw up wild layups in hopes of drawing fouls is a far cry from what I would call "translatable" to the NBA.

That's just what I see though. What do you see different?

Would draft Winslow if Towns, Okafor and Russell are off the board.

^^^ Agreed. Or WCS

BTW do we have definitive word on what type of drugs Upshaw was using? LG perform a background check on this dude!

I want to know if he's got a serious addiction or if like Stephen A says "he needs to stay OFF the WEEEEeeeeEEEEdddddDDDD!"

Problem is I'd be less leery if he was kicked off of one team. But two teams? Shows a character flaw IMO and a future risk. He can't get sobered enough to ensure his livelihood, can you trust him as a piece going forward in games that do matter?

yeah, whatever the drug is, he clearly has an addiction problem. i don't care if it's weed and it's harmless and it should be legal - the fact is that it isn't, and if you can't bring yourself to not do something that's obviously to your detriment, then you have an addiction problem.

he needs help with whatever mental issues he has and i hope that he can get over them. but until that happens, i don't think you can draft him.

It seems like a gamble that the Lakers would not take.

Which starting lineup would you go with if you had the choice

Team A:
Jordan Clarkson
Kobe Bryant
Justise Winslow
Julius Randle
Deandre Jordan

or

Team B:
Jordan Clarkson
Kobe Bryant
Tobias Harris
Julius Randle
Karl Anthony Towns

I really like Towns and his potential but I'd pick Team A because Winslow and Jordan > Harris and Towns.

Team A's defense looks solid. That offense looks horrendous though.

Aside from getting a top draft pick, I think Team B is more realistic. Aside from that reality, I'd go with Team A.

Sorry, that just did'nt make sense to me.

Let me rephrase what you just said in regards to Team A.

Aside from snatching Jordan in FA team A is more realistic.

Ha, sorry. Early morning. I think it's more realistic to get Team A, since Team B requires a #1 pick and wresting Harris out of RFA.

I would take team B because Karl isn't a slack on Defense like let's say Love So theyd be competent on D with the ability to score 105+/night

Team A would need Randle to develop a mid range and Winslow to develop a mid range but the D would be top notched and allow Kobe not to exert himself too much.

any of the two would be a major upgrade from what we have now. Next season will be exciting to watch. Might be a year or two off from contention but we are heading to brighter days.

Agreed. Love Winslow. WCS or Hezonja if Winslow is off the board. I just want the lakers to have a top five pick

My top 5:
1.) Towns
2.) Okafor
3.) Russell
4.) Hezonja
5.) WCS

I really hope the Lakers have their pick, I think next year is the year to lose it, especially when we'll probably be a better team.

There's two sides of the ball. Andrew has the size and speed to defend 3 positions. Offensively, he can drive and he's improved his 3 PT shot. He would be a good fit with Clarkson as well. I like his potential a lot more then Tyus Jones who is small and won't be able to defend.

Easily Team A but that's because it's not as realistic as Team B. Deandre Jordan will get maxed, there's no way in hell Tobias Harris is a max player.
