The Hawks are a less than average team that played as bad as they can for the most part. And now a Rocket team without the prima donna , I mean Howard...
If I was a betting man, I would still pick the Lakers at #2 of the cellar dwellers...
No playoffs and no pick would be a total loss. But this team will struggle to get to 20 wins. Cannot believe I am saying this about my Lakers...

It's so weird that the Knicks would be in there. All that money being thrown around and they are competing with us for the worst record. |

All these supposedly elite teams are bad this year cuz of injuries...I wonder how many are going to just throw in the towel and decide to pick up a high draft pick and reload for next year. Pacers, Knicks, OKC, shouldn't have a good chance to pick up a high seed yet there they are. |

He might've not shot well, but his presence alone makes a tremendous difference. He attracts attention and relieves offensive pressure off of Kobe. That's huge. He did score 16 off the bench and made 2 big FTs down the stretch. Right now, he's the difference maker. _________________ The butter's hard and the eggs are chillin' in the dark.

Pacers have been surprisingly good...they will get David West and George Hill back in a few weeks and they will contend for play-offs.
OKC cannot tank as Durant enters the last year of his contract. We know how those dramas killed teams in the past.
Knicks are interesting.
Typically teams start tanking in March and April to move up by a few positions but i think they will have close to 30 wins by then. None of them have a Top 5 or bust necessity like Lakers...so i think we should do better than them. |

I don't think so....that is a typical record for Phil Jackson's coaching tree (Brian Shaw, Rambis...now Fish). |

Silver lining in this win is that it moves the rockets pick up more. I know it's early in the season but any Rockets lose is good for the Lakers. Right now OKC is second in the tank race but with Westbrook and Durant waiting in the wing I doubt they stay there. Atlanta and Charlotte probably get better as the season progress.
So hopefully the top 3 pick is still within our reach |

Let's just consider this a moral victory in the Kobe vs. Dwight battle (even when he's not there). Just some tank stalling, we'll be back at it. |

Steve Kerr better watch it, he's been immune to it so far. Luke must've brought the lucky bbq to GSW. |

Kerr is not running the triangle...his system is closer to Pop. |

The homes games against Nuggets and Wolves are critical to team tank. |

Couple of bonuses from tanking this season...we no longer owe a second rounder to Orlando (from Dwight trade) & our 1st rounder to Orlando will get pushed out to 2018. |

Guys, the tank might be in trouble. The Lakers are actually looking competent with Nick Young in the lineup. I love the way he and Kobe play off each other.
But i would love it a lot more if Jahlil Okafor was manning that center position |

We gotta do something about Nick "TanksBane" young. He clearly didn't get the memo. |

Or we're the best matchup when it comes to resting star players. You just can't do it when you're a two-man team. |
