You cannot go below 4 with the worst record...not even a mathematical possibility. I don't remember any team within top-4 worst records falling out of top-5 in the draft.

Who's the top 5 ranked players right now for next years draft?
Based on how the Lakers draft, this is what their big board would look like.

1. Jahlil Okafor, 6'11 270 lbs, C
2. Karl Towns, 7'0 250 lbs, C/PF
3. Stanley Johnson, 6'8 240 lbs, SF
4. Emmanuel Mudiay, 6'5 195 lbs, PG
5. Kelly Oubre, 6'7 200 lbs, SF

At this point, I think the Sixers get Mudiay or S.Johnson, since they have Embiid and Noel..... We will be at 2 and choosing in between Okafor and Towns...

If were in the top 5, we'll have a good chance of getting one because 76ers, Magic, and Jazz all have C's.

Agree, I have no doubt that we'll end up with Okafor or Towns.

I'd love to get a center like Okafor or Towns assuming we keep our pick.

With Byron as the coach I'm sure Kareem would come to help work and develop our next young C prospect just like he did Bynum.

Either of those guys next to Randle would be a very nice frontcourt for the next 8-10 years.

True, but the lottery is rigged anyways. It's how the Cavs got their 3 #1 picks in 4 years. The league owes us one.

NO.We need to be in the bottom 5. We could be at 5 for example, but a team behind us in the lottery gets a nice ping pong ball bounce and leap frogs us, then we go to #6, and we lose the pick.

The sixers had Noel that didn't stop them from drafting Embiid. They'll pick the best available talent even if they are doubling a position because they can alway wheel and deal later.

The consequence of not only the Nash deal. But it's in combination with losing Dwight and Pau for nothing. We needed to get assets in return for at least one of them. Perhaps easier said than done, but it needed to be done.

I'll be ecstatic if we are lucky enough to keep our pick and draft Okafor or Towns as well as getting another prospect with Houston's pick.

Yep, you are right my man.

Top 2 worse records look like guaranteed top 5 pick.

Let's M1 Abrams this ish!

What he means is, the two worse teams are guaranteed a top 5 pick which is correct.

3rd worse and have probabilities that including a top 6 pick and further.

M1 Abrams baby!

We just might be so bad that there's probably no need to intentionally tank. At this rate, it's a very good possibility that we'll end up with one of the 2 worst records as is....

Here's the top two centers Scouting Reports

1.Jahlil Okafor, 6'11 270 lbs, C

Pros:Okafor is bigger and stronger than just about anybody he plays against. Has a rock solid body with great strength. Really dominates the paint on both ends of the floor and cleans the glass well.

Scores well on spin moves and drop steps. Has a nice baby hook shot and improving face up game. Sees the floor well and finds teammates well. Has enough quickness to take his man off the dribble and has a knack for scoring in the lane and on short runners.

Solid defender who is not an elite shot blocker but plays with good positioning and great strength.

Cons: Doesn't have great lift and struggles to be a true above the rim player. Continued work on his mid range shot, free throw shooting and understanding of the game is needed.

2. Karl Towns, 7'0 250 lbs, C

Pros: Towns is a unique player. A 7-footer who can step out and knock down threes or beat defenders with the dribble drive. Has a versatile, well rounded and highly skilled offensive package. Towns is a nightmare to match up against. He can post up smaller defenders or beat opposing centers with his perimeter skills.

Has a picture perfect jumper with a smooth, quick release. It is nearly impossible to block his jumper due to his great height and high release.

Handles the ball very well and can take it to the rim with spin moves, hesitation dribbles and a decent crossover. Has polished footwork in the post and an improving back to the basket game.

Cons: Needs to assert himself more in the paint and use his great height to his advantage. Will have to add strength, loose weight and develop a mean streak in order to dominate and live up to his potential.

Putting Randle next to a center with potential would be intriguing to say the least.
