3rd spot behind OKC and SAS! Yes, you first read it here!

We'll, we won't be reading anything from you for a week. There's a positive...

Great, now he's a martyr!

And not nearly the last one.

Since there is a thread about tanking, and I don't believe in that especially with Kobe returning who also doesn't believe in that. I thought I should create
a positive regular season thread to look forward to the upcoming season.

Anyone who wants to be positive post here. Those who want to post negativity, can post in the tank thread or the meh thread.

Super excited for this season. Kobe at 100% and Lin Boozer and exciting new talent in Randle! Nick Young and Jordan Hill back for more. It'll be a totally different team this coming season.

Last season was no Kobe no Nash and just a bunch of hired guns to fill jerseys for 1 year. They were scabs - last season was going into the kiln for deep cooking from the outset.

This season woooooo its going to be nasty fun!

I think this team will pleasantly surprise many people as guys will play with a chip on their shoulder.

Whether it be because of injuries(Kobe and Nash), falling in the draft(Randle and Clarkson), being amnestied(Boozer), being traded(Lin), etc.

If we embrace the underdog mentality we have the opportunity to silence a lot of doubters and critics and be a playoff team next season.

My dream, and it is probably a pipe dream, is that we get Michael Beasley, and Lin turns him into the beast that he was meant to be. Beasley is still young (25), and he's never played with a PG like Lin; the closest was Goran Dragic in 2012-13, but Dragic does not make his teammates better. Lin does.

Randle develops a jumper so he can be our SF.

We get a true rim-protecting center.

Lin/Nash/Marshall
Kobe/Clarkson/Lin
Randle/Swaggy
Beasley/Boozer/Davis
?/Hill/Davis

This team could win 50 games, easily, depending on who that ? is at center.
