If by some chance he can have a healthy season, he really is a forgotten man....am I dreaming that Nash could have a big season for us this year out of nowhere?
Thoughts?
I agree, he always forgets his man on defense
Whatever you wantnto say about Nash, he always busts tail, from setting screens to playing defense with what he has. And he doesn't forget anything. _________________ “We must always take sides. The only thing I hope for is that they guy can simply play out the last year of his career. Can't dislike the guy, but he does remind me of how the Lakers have fallen.

Nash is a class act, he just happens to be old and basically over the hill. The Lakers should of never given 2 first round picks for him, however, that is not Steve's fault. _________________ .....

A class act for his career other than the end of it when he should have retired rather than fleece the Lakers for almost $10m a year.

Hopefully, he at least tries to earn some of his big salary by being a de facto assistant coach/mentor for all our young PGs. _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

Nash was a reactionary move post Dan Gilbert's and David Stern's CP3 team-up and block. I really can't hate the move when put in it's proper historical context... _________________ Whenever the Lakers benefit all of a sudden rules need to be changed and trades need to be blocked.

Yes, because you would've left 9 million on the table. Sure buddy. _________________ Music is my medicine
My friend has a conspiracy theory that PHX sent D'antoni and Nash to the Lakers to sabotage our organization. I think it's true. _________________ i drink haterade. and i drink it by the gallons.
If you look at this upcoming season's PG position, I would rate it as fairly decent:
Lin/Nash/Marshall/Clarkson
Not bad at all. Lin will be terrific for us this year so the pressure is off Nash. If he can come in and lead the bench with some consistent play that would be great.

No...No...No... and a thousand times no. I'm sorry LG but we have to face the reality that is Steve Nash. He's done! He is (until retired) a great player, one of the best PG's to ever play the game, but he's to frail now. He might keep his body in shape, but it's not enough for the rigors of an NBA basketball season. I would have loved for him to have shown some flashes of the Phoenix Nash especially when Coward was on the team, who knows maybe it would have changed his mind. In theory I believe it's a pipe dream for us to even consider anything remotely close to what he once was, why else would we have signed Jeremy Lin?
Let's put Nash behind us and look towards a future for this Lakers team...
I don't believe Lin is the answer for the Lakers, but it's a start in the right direction.
- 15 minutes a game would be great
- helping Lin develop even more
- Great expiring contract at the trade deadline if there is a good deal to be had _________________ #11/08/16 America became GREAT again
