I think they will be in the 40 win range, but don't think that will be enough to make the playoffs.

Forty wins feels above this team's ceiling.

They'll be lucky to win 20 games.

If Kobe stays healthy, I wouldn't bet against him

Really depends on Kobe. I think he has enough scoring punch around him to make a run at the playoffs.

I think the Lakers can win it all.

Kobe is 100% (like the 1st time since 2006 - think 81pts Kobe)
Nash is reportedly feeling like he is 24 yrs old
Nick Young is happy.
Randle.
Jordan Clarkson is looking like a better Monta Ellis
Kelly is showing signs to be a poor man's Dirk
Ed Davis will finally scratch the surface of his unlimited potential.
and Boozer finally arrives!
wow, it's Linsane to even think about it.

Why don't have a team yet. Just a bunch of signings...we don't know who is gonna be here when the season starts, we don't even have a damn coach. Let the team be set before we start crying about making the playoffs

It really depends on if Kobe can stay healthy or not during the season. I'll say no for now.

If they can add Xavier Henry and Wes Johnson to this roster, I think they can make the playoffs. That is assuming everyone is healthy.

And by noise I mean boo's.

What in the world are you talking about?

The Lakers are a train wreck and if the Lakers are willing to put the Black Knight's health on the line to cover up for their lack of roster management skills once again, they'll truly have blood on their hands.

Kobe could average 35 ppg, 7 reb, and 6 assts and this team is still destined for the lottery. We have no primary perimiter defender and no interior defender. We have no catch and shoot 3pt shooters.

We have no coach and no identity. How in the world do you think the Lakers are going to win 40 games? If they had gotten Melo, 50 games would be the cap.

This will be a long season.

I say no, considering they play in the very deep western conference, but I hope they prove me wrong.

If we were in the East we'd get the 5 seed. In the west I see us 9-10

No coach, no centers, no small forwards, and best player coming off of two knee injuries at the age of 36.

right now it's all on whether the Lakers can maintain health and have players not missing significant time.

This is especially important to Nash and Kobe. If both are healthy and can just be on the court then maybe there is a chance of good things to happen.

But that uncertainty is the big killer.
