Too bad most of us are in the Seattle area.

I hear those Proam games are pretty exciting.

mixed feeling about this....

not sure if I like the idea of Kobe playing in a pick up game.....

but if he is going to play there then I guess he feels pretty good.

Yeah they are pretty fun. The best $5 you'll ever spend, that's for sure. Had I known Kobe was in town, I would have popped over since SPU is only about 8 minutes from my house on the other side of Queen Anne. They usually get going about 1pm, but may be a bit late today due to the Bite of Seattle going on at the Needle. I'm headed out to grab something to eat, and if there are still some "Super Cars" parked in the back lot, I'll go ahead and pop in and see if I can get any interesting pics.

I also doubt that Kobe and/or Payton are playing.

It doesn't really make sense to advertise that 2 players are going to be there, if they're not participating at all.

I hope Kobe does play, as that would certainly indicate that he feels healthy and is not worried about his body.

does anyone know anything further about it?

Jamal Crawford has always been a good guy and a huge Kobe fan. I'm glad to see Kobe helping him out for a good cause.

He is a baller too. I wished we had signed him before he went to flippers. Boy can score.

Sure it makes sense. It adds allure and hopefully drives attendance up.

What a tease. Here are some awesome NBA basketball players showing up to your event, too bad you still don't have an NBA team.

Blazers I read were bringing him in to help teach Lillard how to play defense. Probably couldn't ask for a better mentor.
