Fans gotta unite and not buy that crap.
That will teach the league to not use them.

Is the push for sleeved jerseys so that they'll have more real estate to eventually sneak more advertising decals onto the uniforms?

I like it. I'd buy it.

However, I don't think these things should be worn by players in games. Just like players don't wear Lakers t-shirts in games.

Will probably buy one but I agree it shouldn't be worn during games.

By buying these jerseys, you're giving them the impression that those jerseys are popular and therefore they will keep them. If fans were to boycott those jerseys, they would vanish faster than Lindsay Lohans sobriety on a Saturday night.

nobody know for absolute certainty i dont think but i've heard quite a few people think that's the reason.. sneak it in a little here and there and hope it takes off before it's forced on us anyways...

hope i'm wrong though because it's a bad look for sure...

It would be good for the high schoolers that aren't allowed to wear tanks to school, but still want to rep their team after a big team without wearing a t-shirt underneath.

Definitely has no place on a basketball court though.

I'm with many of you. I hate the players wearing them in game, but I would like to get one.

It would be much easier for me to get away with wearing one of these to work than a regular tank jersey. Plus I think the nba is going to go it's sleeved advertising rout regardless Fo what we do. So there is a hollywood nights randle jersey in my future...

I don't see what's so hard about wearing a tight black T under your tank jersey. Even if you aren't in good shape a black T is your best bet. Or a T that's the same (or opposite team color) of the jersey.

Besides that - jersey shirts have been available for a long time.

This is just the first step towards soccer-style jersey ads. Silver thinks he's being slick by doing everything one step at a time.

First come the sleeves, then next season he moves the Jerry West logo to the back, then in a season or two will come "just a 2x2 patch" (what's so bad about a small patch, right?!) and then in a few years the team names get replaced by Bank of America or PEPSI or something equally stupid.

Meanwhile ticket prices go up and on-screen in-game advertising continues.

Looks like something that you'd buy at the El Monte swap meet.

Yeah... actually nice to have a jersey you can wear normally in public. Hard to do that with a tank top. I like it.

This is the opinion that did not escape the NBA marketing dept. and why the League is adopting the t-shirt style.

Certainly not because the players wanted it. Did any player state they preferred it last year?

A lot of players are very superstitious. Wonder how this will affect their game? Must chaff and feel more restrictive - especially if your not use to it.

Sadly I think you're right

Concerning how the players feel about playing in them....I wonder too. I know lebronze didn't like it. Coward probably dies since he essentially plays in one anyway. Personally I like playing in a tank since its less restrictive
