IF kobe comes back "healthy" meaning deserving of minutes and the ball...

... Predict who will develop that 2-man game with him?

Everyone from the past is gone. There is no one to fall back on for kobe and we all know he's been doing that since the last ring.

Now he's forced to find a solution, with someone he's rarely played with. So who's going to step up and find that chemistry with him?

Big man a'la Pau style game with boozer/randle?

Guard 2-man game a'la Fisher with lin/young?

Kobe is Kobe. Mamba doesn't need a two man game.

I honestly don't believe he will trust any of his teammates that way.

Isn't this same poll as who will be the second leading scorer?

For this season, I think it is Boozer.

Not necessarily.

I think Lin will be the 2nd leading scorer, but I see both Lin and Kobe doing the p&r game with Boozer.

Since I believe they'll be running far more post-ups than pick and rolls it'll probably be someone who can play off the ball and cut to the basket well. That rules out Swaggy and Lin. Meeks would have been good.

It isn't realistic to compare it to some of his other duos, but it won't be like throwing dropped passes to Kwame or shaking his head when Smush would run iso and throw up a bad shot. Randle may get the least PT of those mentioned (besides Nash obviously) but he could bring out the most excitement in Kobe. Since there is no defined #2, maybe he's accepted the situation and sees Randle as a way to prove to himself he can help in a young player's development.

Boozer. He's basically a downsized Pau. Kobe will run that PnR with him as if Pau never left.

Will Boozer roll at least or just settle for 18-foot pick and pops? It's the anti-analytics method of offense we're going with...

If Nash is healthy i think he trust him the most. Randle is yo young and inexperienced.

It depends on what's going on. To hit a game winner I think he trust Young but his sidekick will be Boozer. Kobe loves guys who can get there's in the post

I voted Boozer, because it just make more sense to run PnR with guard, big rather than guard, guard.

It depends on the chemistry.
My gut feeling is between Boozer and Lin.
More likely Boozer than Lin.
But we will find out in game time!

I think it will be Lin, Boozer will have to split minutes with Randle, Kelly, and Davis. Lin will play 30 or more mpg, Boozer at most 24 mpg. I think will see a lot of Kobe in the post or P&R with Lin as the primary ball handler in the 4th quarter,

Boozer's attitude is tough as nails, he competes and takes no crap, if you could infuse his competitiveness into Pau, he would have been awesome...!

He gets my vote.

I really don't see this Lakers team doing much posting-up. Hill does not have a back-to-the-basket game and neither does Randle.

Now that we have a younger team, I'd like to see more running if our bigs can get the boards at defensive end. If we become a running team, either Lin or Randle could become the second leading scorer.

Why isn't Kobe a choice?
