Assuming he plays 20-22M per game where do you think he will end up as a basketball player and do you think he can become another amir johnson type? |

Can't say I've seen a TON of Ed Davis but assuming those minutes, I would assume he puts up around 9 and 7 with less than a block per game on good percentages. Davis is a good offensive rebounder and a below average defensive rebounder.
He's not a guy, to me, that calls for the ball. He gets a lot of his looks off of put backs and such. |

Would be nice if he worked with a skilled bigman to help his game improve... i think he can do better then 9/7 maybe 13/6. |

He's not a scorer type. And certainly not in 20 minutes. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

In 20-22 mins? Why do you think that? (Besides the fact he wears purple and gold). He doesn't have an offensive game. Like I said, he scores mainly off of put backs.
So the only way he is getting 13 points is if he is in the low double digits in rebounds.

A good big to have off the bench who can provide energy, shot-blocking, dunks and rebounding. I see 9/7. |

Would care more if he flirted with 10+ rebounds and 2+ blocks a game. potential is there _________________ "Nobody hates the good ones. They hate the great ones." - KB |

High talent and raw ability, low bball iq kind of guy.... think Wesley Johnson but the center version. IF he can figure it out, his ceiling is Tyson Chandler: Rebound, defensive specialist and garbage baskets. |

So between him and Hill. I want 30 points 25 rebounds |

All I want to see from Davis is for him to be active on defense and use his length and athleticism to protect the rim, alter and block shots, and rebound.
I don't expect much offense from him as we don't need it with scorers like Kobe, Young, Lin, Boozer, and Randle. |

He was better than Amir Johnson when they were both on the raptors. |

Ed is a high energy player & will be our best rim protector. If he gives us solid defense and rebounds well; I will be satisfied. |

Power forward version who can play spot minutes at center. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Needs to bulk up. He had one promising year and suddenly disappeared. I even remember him being a popular waiver wire pickup in fantasy leagues before. Hope he finally lives up to his potential with us. Has to put in the work and hit the weight room! |

Like Jordan Hill, he has always played much better at center than power forward. _________________ Kobe |
