A great story today. (Sorry no pics). My nanny took two of my kids to a medical appointment in Newport Beach. They were sitting there in the waiting room and in walks Kobe with his wife and two daughters. Kobe sits right next to my 10-year-old son (who has Down syndrome). My son is playing PacMan. Kobe starts to talk to him about it. My son says, "What's your name?" Kobe says "Kobe--what's your name?" My son says "Danny." Then my son, who didn't want to be bothered because he was playing PacMan says "Go away". My nanny wanted to to take a picture of Kobe with my son, but when she was just taking her phone out, Kobe and his daughter got called -- her appointment was next.

I can't believe my son told Kobe to leave him alone because he was too busy playing PacMan!!

Yeah, tell me about it. I f I can find Kobe's address, I'll make my son write him an apology and include an autographed pic of himself .

Mamba can take it, kids are just being real...they say what they are actually thinking. Come to think of it, I might be a big kid.

Kobe got what he deserved. You don't interrupt a man and his video games.

Your kid is a boss! Rofl.

Kobe is the type to think that's hilarious too which makes it even better.

It was probably refreshing to him to not be recognized and be treated normal for once

LOL. Must have been some videogame console that they have at the medical office in the waiting room. We don't have a Gameboy

Nice story.

Kobe seems like a chill dude with a soft spot for kids.

Not many people will make conversation with kids.

My nanny said he was also interacting great with his daughters. Obviously a super loving dad.

That's sad. Kobe in his prime would have dunked on him.

Why's Kobe talking to kids when he could be working on his PacMan strategies?

Nice story. I'm sure Kobe doesn't get rejection like that often.
