Since Scott and Walton got coaching jobs I'd love to see MWP as a studio analyst for TWC.

Wow, Metta says there was something internal that happened during the 10-11 season which was why they lost to the Mavs in the playoffs. He didn't say what it was.

I wonder if it's that girlfriend cheating rumor?

^Obviously it was. I remember Fisher just staring at Pau on the sidelines with the look of 'WTF is wrong with you?' Pau was mentally checked out that series. I think it threw the whole team off. they were also drained from 3 straight championship series'.

Brown tweeted that year that he did not sleep with Pau's girl. So maybe it was someone else. Gasol averaged 13 pts a game that series.

To this day I wonder what happened to the team during that run. Seriously, Who knew what and when did they know it? Phil punched Pau dead in his chest for crying out loud... What really happened that particular spring is the stuff of legend...

It was very odd to say the least. Pau was the key to continuing on in the playoffs and Phil was obviously pissed that Pau wasn't performing at the level he thought he could.

I think the Lakers could have had a strong chance at 3-peating had it not been for the locker room explosion.

He's Ron Artest

Anyone who refers to him as "Metta" should be kicked in the balls.

The feeling I got was that he was talking about Phil getting cancer and he didn't know Phil talked about it in his book until Trudell mentioned it.

Toronto and Memphis aren't exactly the most popular teams.

The 5-6 games leading up to 4/12/13, Kobe played all 48 minutes in each game. It was insane, and D'Antoni just stood there and let it happen.

big news for me, always felt it had something to do with exhaustion from 3

straight final appearances. Explains Phils disappointment in Pau during the

series.

I don't think his minutes had anything to do with the achilles tear. Haven't medical professionals come out and essentially say that?

I don't think it contributed to the achilles tear. But I think 45.4 minutes a game for a 34 year old is still too much.

Ruptures often are caused by a sudden increase in the amount of stress on your Achilles tendon. Common examples include:

1. Increasing the intensity of sports participation
2. Falling from a height
3. Stepping into a hole
