I remem a doc on octopuses that was more or less about the "sad" evolutionary quirk of octopuses having to learn every piece of information for survival on their own. Nothing taught to the offspring. They all go off and figure it out or they don't.

LG Off Topic never disappoints when it comes to quality entertainment. Actually I think there should be a no lock thread policy in Off Topic. We could find out what people REALLY think about the important issues like tipping or Octomom.
