Hey Guys,

All this recent talk about MWP taking his talents to China next season has made me really miss what he brought to our Lakers team in the past. I am sure everyone remembers his extreme level of inconsistency throughout the 2009/2010 season, but during the playoffs he stepped up and saved our butt quite a few times. Hitting that buzzer beater against the suns in game 5, coming up CLUTCH in game 7 of the NBA finals and just instilling a level of toughness in our Lakers team that we lack today. I miss the guy and the eventful antics and entertainment he brought to our Lakers, in no way shape or form do I want him back with the Lakers (he is washed up). I just wanted to start this thread to wish him well in his future endeavors.

Will always remember game 7 in 2010. Had some onions against the Celts and made Paul Pierce's life miserable.

For me, the highlight of his Laker tenure was the elbow to Harden's head.

Mine's was his tussling with Pierce b/f Game 1 of the Finals. Set the tone.

And he "accidentally" bumped Ray Allen early game 3, making him unforgettable to Celtics fans as well.

A couple of favorite moments:

* Game 7 vs Boston Post game interview
* Rubbing Paul Pierce's hand band over his eyes
* Throwing Ariza's shoes out of bounds
* Elbowing Harden
* Kissing the fans hand out of bounds

Dang, why are these non-game memories?

Oh!

* Game 5 vs Pho buzzer beater!!

Metta was the right kind of crazy of LA.
I'll remember him getting into Pierce before tipoff.

Pierce had punked ariza the year before. This time we had some muscle.

Plus he always seemed to me as a loyal player. Good locker room guy

Whenever I see neckbeard Harden, I can faintly see the dent that Ron left on the side of his head.

Ariza barely played and was coming off a broken foot. It was Luke he destroyed

My Favorite Ron Artest (MWP) Moments
1 - that one time he knocked the (bleep) out of James Harden
2 - The brawl in the Palace
3 - when he asked for time off from the Pacers to be a hip hop artist
4 - big shot versus Boston
5 - breaking Jordan's rib
