total number of wins for the season which would range from 0 - 82:

21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30
31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40

51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60
61, 62, 63, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 69, 70
71, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, 78, 79, 80
81, 82)


Here are the choices that you offered in the Poll:

20 or less
20-30
30-40
40-45
45-50
50-55
55-60
60+



The above labeled as choices A - H. The same labels will be used
for the accompanying subsets of numbers.

A - 20 or less
B - 20-30
C - 30-40
D - 40-45
E - 45-50
F - 50-55
G - 55-60

The following are the subsets of the 0 - 82 range of possible
wins demarcated by the numbers used in your Poll:

It appears to be acceptable.


Check the above subsets for repetitions - duplicates in the 0 - 82 range.
There are a fair amount of errors found upon doing this check.

20 is in both subset A and subset B.

30 is in both subset B and subset C.

40 is in both subset C and subset D.

45 is in both subset D and subset E.

50 is in both subset E and subset F.

55 is in both subset F and subset G.

60 is in both subset G and subset H.


To have eliminated the above errors, the choices in your Poll
needed to have looked something similar to this:


A - 20 or less
B - 21-30
C - 31-40
D - 41-45

Actually, you asked "how many wins are you predicting with this roster". The way people will typically answer a poll like that is they pick a number, and then find the available answer among the list of answers.

That aside, one of your ranges is too large. Specifically, the one 30-40. There should be a 35-40 option in there. Why wouldn't all the actual ranges be of the same size?

Under 20 is beyond terrible, 20-30 is high lottery pick, 30-40 is out of the playoffs, 40-45 is borderline playoff team, 45-50 low-to-mid seed playoff team, 50-55 strong playoff team, 55-60 top seeded playoff team, 60+ exceptional... It's not rocket science, quit overthinking things, son.
