Naah....Cavs got:

Anthony Bennet 1st overall
Andrew Wiggins 1st overall
Tristant Thompson 4th overall (somewhat proven, coming off averaging a double-double)
Dion Waiters 4th overall (somewhat proven, coming off a 16 ppg season)

we have em by 1 (or 3, depending on how you look at it)

True, but all of them are drafted higher. And you're missing Kyrie Irving, 1st overall.. but he doesn't have anything to prove either. So really, just 2?

Having 4 number one overall picks drafted by the same team(3 of whom are not over the age of 22 years old) seems freakishly improbable. I wonder if any other NBA team in history has been that lucky?

Adam Morrison
Andrew Bynum
Dwight Howard
Caron Butler
Vladamir Radmonovic
Chris Mihm
Lamar Odom

The Lakers have not been shy about giving former lottery picks a chance.

Mitch is the Father Flanagan of the NBA. I fully expect Anthony Bennett to be a Laker someday.

Yea.
But I expected Kobe to play more games.
And I expected Gasol to dominate without D12/Bynum.

The "bust" approach works well when Mitch needs to find balance between flexibility and competitiveness. Short contract and playing time for players who are eager to prove themselves.

Yeah but it's no different than those including Xavier Henry or Wes Johnson.

I understand you're trying to say "this team has more to prove than anything" to find that silver lining and all, but the only people that should REALLY be on that list for us are Randle and Davis.

Everyone else has been given ample opportunity and they've got little left to prove at this point.
