LeBron James decided to cut carbs this summer & dropped significant weight as tweeted photo shows:

Is he on that Christian Bale machinist diet? The NBA begins PED testing this season and Lebron and Wade both drop a significant amount of weight, what a coincidence. _________________ "I was laying myself on the line by saying, if this doesn't work in three to four years, if we're not back on the top then I will step down because that means I have failed,"

I remember reading about that.. Bale ate something like 3 saltines and one apple a day for a month or more IIRC?
I wonder if Bron has ever been tested ... Random ???

No idea what the actual story is here, but even if LeBron is simply cutting carbs out of his diet, it's a bad idea. Carbs are important. You can cut them out if your only goal is to lose weight, but it's not a good strategy if you want to maintain peak physical performance.
Thing is... I'm sure LeBron and his many nutritionists/trainers/chefs know this. That's why I'm on board with the group speculating that there may be more to this. _________________ Jeffs

+1 in regards to the carbs.
Something odd about that picture to me thoughb. He looks a little thinner in the rest of his instagram pictures but nowhere near how gaut his face is in the OP. Supposedly he lost 10 pounds...the dude walks around at 270+ (that's what people say his real size is despite the listing)...10 pounds off a guy that big won't shed that much off his face.

I saw the pic this morning, I was shocked.
As someone said earlier, I don't what the heck he had to cut.
What made Lebron a freak from his 2nd season onwards was his strength + low body fat % + maintaing his athletic talents.

Compare it to the other pictures within the same time frame.
Look at the more the most recent for example. His cheeks aren't anything like that. I think it's either lighting or editing. That close up looks on the path to anorexia.
