So much for that win, my opponent got a couple points out of nowhere and I lost. _________________ A banana is killed every time a terrible thread or post is made. Save the bananas. Stop creating terrible posts! |

So I had Hilton, Sanders, Forte, Foster, Gronk, Watkins and Seattle play this week so far.
I got 224 points from those and got Romo and Dan Bailey playing tonight.
I have never scored that many points. |

In my first team, I had Forte & Foster absolutely tear it up for me, then got big points from the Antonios (Brown & Gates). I am playing against Alfred Morris & Demarco Murray, but I have about a 60pt gap so I'm feeling good.
My second team got a nice assist from ringfinger (thanks bro), who made a good call on starting Mark Ingram, which netted me a comfortable win.
My friend at work who plays in our league left over 100 points on his bench last night, just from 3 players! He had Big Ben (45), Maclin (30) & Gronk (32), but chose to roll with Wilson (13), V. Jackson (2) & Jordan Cameron (4). I was laughing all night long, who benches Gronk?!?! |
Wow. You were able to survive Big Ben's big week huh? Impressive.
With my player recommendations, I just play the odds. Sometimes it doesn't pan out, but, as long as I made the right play before the games started, then I'll be able to sleep at night.
Alshon is on a Chicago team that has been struggling offensively, has a little internal turmoil, and playing the league's #1 pass defense. I felt strongly the only way he'd have a good game is with a touchdown. Meanwhile, Ingram is on a team that needs a win badly, all of the other running backs are out (Khiry/Pierre), and playing a bottom 5 run defense. All the variables were there to start Ingram.
What a crazy week. So many big games from several players. Foster, Big Ben, Brady, Maclin, Brown, Gronk, Miami D, etc. |
I wasn't actually playing against that guy, he's a friend of mine who I watched the games with last night. He was furious all evening, while I couldn't stop laughing, and it just so happened that my selections turned out well, while his cost him dearly |

Need some help here..
I have Jimmy Graham & Julius Thomas. One of them gotta go
which would you trade? and what kind of RB can i expect to net with a TE for someone who is in need of a TE
I was thinking Matt Forte..or is that too far fetched? what about Leveon Bell? |

IMO, they're basically the same with maybe a slight edge to Jimmy Graham for yards, but I think Peyton looks more to Julius in the end zone so I'd call it a wash. The difference will be, on poor weeks Graham will be better. On big weeks, Julius should be better. I'd be willing to bet Julius' worst game is worse than Graham's but his best game is better than Graham's best. If it were me, I'd move Graham because I think he could get me a better player in return.
It's not so much the player that makes the trade fair (although that's a part of it), it also depends on what the other team has. If the other team has Greg Olsen at TE, and Forte but no other decent RBs, why would he make that trade? To dropoff at RB is way bigger than the gain from Olsen to Graham.
If the guy with Forte has a plethora of RBs and no viable TE, he will be able to move Forte. Too many fantasy managers look at what THEY want from a deal. Instead, look at your buyers and put yourself in their shoes and try to figure out what would make sense. |

Looking at the schedules for the remaining 7 weeks...
Denver plays some pretty tough defenses and 5 of 7 games on the road.
N.O. also plays some strong defenses to end the year but on the flip side, 5 of the last 7 games are at home for them.
Look for someone who is in need of a TE and see what they have to offer. Either way, you have a legit TE on your bench every week and should try to get SOMETHING for him. Usually teams around the .500 mark midway thru the season are most apt to make a move from what I've seen. Good luck. _________________ "Dread it, run from it... destiny arrives all the same." |

50/50 chance.
The NFL is a bunch of overreacting idiots though that try to please everybody including non-fans of the NFL.
Who knows what they'll do. |

Wow. NICE!
Sitting at 6-3 in my big money league.
Tied for 2nd place. Getting down to the wire now and it looks like the playoff teams are starting to make that push. I'm hoping my team holds up.
Carson Palmer has got me by the last few weeks that I've been sitting Matt Ryan. I'm hoping Ryan comes back from the BYE week with a vengeance cuz AZ's schedule looks like its going to get tough.
I'm hoping Gio Bernard stays benched. Hanging on to Jeremy Hill FINALLY paid off for me last week and I need that to continue.
Good luck to everyone else out there as the playoffs are just around the corner! _________________ "Dread it, run from it... destiny arrives all the same." |

Played against Andy Dalton last night, got -1.76
That dude sucks on prime time, every time he has a big game he seems to put up a weak performance. Bengals sucked badly! |

Gonna be a close one this week for me.
Up 20 and I have Demaryius Thomas. My opponent has P. Manning and Welker.
I started Jeremy Hill instead of Justin Forsett and may pay the price for that.
My other starters really didn't help me out this week.
Antonio Brown and Leveon Bell had bad games. Matt Ryan did OK... and Travis Kelce was terrible. _________________ "Dread it, run from it... destiny arrives all the same." |

Played against Lynch, Denard Robinson & Jimmy Graham... They got nearly 80 between them
Fortunately, the dude also had Andy Dalton, Bengals DEF, Reggie Bush & Allen Hurns, who combined for less than 5 points.
I got Michael Rivera from the waiver wire as both my TEs are on bye, who netted me a nice surprise 12 points, then got 25 big ones from the Cards D & 18 from Mike Evans. Still, I need a 20 piece from Cam Newton tonight, or I get dealt my first L of the year
Had Nelson & Dez Bryant in my work team, they killed it for me. |

My dude put up 114 and lost by 70 as the guy he was going against had Rodgers, Nelson, Lynch, Benjamin and a few other who gave him like 180 points.
I'm in first after trading Manning. Was just trying to maintain through the bye weeks. |

for week 11, which of these three would you start?
AJ Green
Odell Beckham
Brandin Cooks
Denard Hopkins
Jordan Matthews
im leaning towards green, beckham & cooks. but maybe im not accounting for something? |

So, I've waited it out with Josh Gordon, now might play him this week while my boys Antonio Brown & Kelvin Benjamin are on bye.
Got Julio Jones & Mike Evans to start too, liking my WR crew as playoffs come up. |

Andy Reid has gotta be one of the worst coaches in the league. Kelce is only used in desperation mode, and Charles gets 19 carries against one of the worst run defenses in the league (and just one on the final two drives). |

I feel happy that I actually got 6.7 points out of Kelce this week. TE has been a complete disaster for me this season. _________________ "Dread it, run from it... destiny arrives all the same." |

Good news is, TE has been a disaster in general this season. |

up 25 and I still have Forsett and Flacco tomorrow night. My opponent has Baltimore's kicker. If/when I win , I will move into a 3 way tie for 1st place.
Not bad, considering I was 3-3 back in week 6. (fingers crossed) _________________ "Dread it, run from it... destiny arrives all the same." |

Him & CJ Anderson did a number on me this week, thought I was getting an easy W until they messed it up. Now I'm down 8 with Justin Tucker still to play. |
