Is that yours or ESPN?

I generally agree with those 8, but PHX and NO can make a splash this season. I have Lakers around 9-11 range unfortunately.

If we are missing the playoffs again. We might as well tank hard to keep our pick.

wow you have the lakers where they finished last year but last year we had 100000 injuries and No Kobe, plus we had D'Antoni and no Randle.... I think you're selling Kobe short, just him healthy is at least an 8th seed. IMO

I would gladly be shocked to see the Lakers at #6, but that's pretty dang high. You have them beating out Memphis, PHX, and NO. All tough teams IMO to overcome.

This is realistic. I doubt Kobe helps, 36 coming off two season ending surgeries? Again, be realistic. As a matter of fact, teams will play up to the presence of Kobe as opposed to playing down to the Lakers like last year. Next year won't be pretty.

Honestly I think the lakers will be in the 5-8 range in the seeding. We will shock alot of people this year imo. We have got alot younger and I think we will float around 6-8 seed and I believe the front office makes a trade similar to the gasol trade around deadline that will catapult us.

I agree, I think the tough one is beating Memphis, PHX and NO may not be as good as we think. But I think adding a healthy Kobe, along with upgrading the PG spot with Lin and a motivated Boozer along with a fresh rookie with a huge upside could be enough to get us in the playoffs + don't forget, Byron Scott will be a breath of fresh air for Kobe and a happy Kobe is a great thing for all of us!

Heard this last year too. Look at how many 1 year players we have. The arc to me seems that for about the first 30-40% of games, 1 year players try to buy into a team concept. When the going gets tough, it's about putting up #s to get your next contract. Such is the nature of having so many 1 year players (Lin, Boozer, Davis, basically Hill, X, Wes, etc.).

That's pretty good, though I would pick the Spurs to win the regular season race. I wouldn't be surprised if we had another rash of injuries and sank to the bottom, but 12 is a good mid-range projection. If everything goes our way, we could make a run at the playoffs, but we have zero margin for error. I expect the TWolves to do better than 15, but we shall see how that team stacks up.

i'm predicting one of the big three for the spurs goes down for an extended period of time and they get the injury bug...

i predict kobe stays healthy all year and at the deadline we trade for an all-star

i think dwight goes down for a bit and the team chemistry on the rockets will be bad...

chandler will be out for at least 20 games for the mavs and leaving them fighting for the playoffs...

blazers will be the same that they were last year...

I'm not as high as usual on Portland or the Clips.

The two best seem to be the Spurs and Thunder, again.

I have the Pelicans and Mavs moving up to third and fourth, a few slots each. NO looks good with a healthy Holiday and Gordon, and Dallas with very promising looking help at last for Dirk, in both T-Chandler and Chandler-P.

Then Portland and LAC grappling with Memphis for fifth, too close to call.

Warrior synergy gonna tail off with lesser coaching, probably sixth or seventh at best, but probably eighth, and the next position going to Houston.

Lakers stuck deep in the bottom quarter, landing just below below the Kings, Suns, and (choke, gasp, glurk) Denver. This will be hell to watch.

SMH @ people overrating the Mavs. Other than OKC, Spurs, Clippers 4-8 spots are up for grabs.

1. OKC
2. Spurs
3. Clippers
4. Portland, Mavs, Rox, Lakers, Memphis, Warriors in no particular order.
