He was only signed because the Kings owner is Indian. He barely has the fitness to run up and down the court. He will get cut.

He wouldn't be a Jackie Robinson if he sucks. Also a totally different situation. Comparing all firsts to jackie is a bit of a disservice to #42

It was satire of what was going on in that thread. it's not serious

We should have signed him...he looks good. Nice mid-range shot, decent footwork....what's not to like.

Should be interesting...as long he stays on one end of the floor. Doesn't matter which one, just pick one because he takes 24 seconds just to get across half court.

Hijacking this thread for best LA Indian joints:

1.) Jay Bharat on Pioneer
I'm partial to Gujarati food

2.) New India Grill in Westwood

3.) The India Restaurant on Pioneer. aloo gobi that gets replaced every 5 minutes during the buffet hours

Add Ocean Tava in Redondo and Famous Tandoori in Torrance to the list. No lunch buffet, but their food is amazing.

1 - Paru's in Hollywood. South Indian Cuisine (yummy Dosas)

2 - Udupai Palace in "Little India"/ Alhambra. More yummy South Indian

3 - Khana Peena on College in Rockridge neighborhood of Oakland. Yum (Northern Indian)

I bet India wishes he was on the Lakers instead given what a high profile franchise it is. Between he and Jeremy Lin they would get a ton of Asian support.

Nobody would care about the Sacramento Kings.

That being said I never really followed this dude I hope he does well but with his frame I fear he'll end up like Yao Ming(injury prone)

Probably closer to the legendary Sun Ming Ming (big, but very slow and not very good)

With that kind of size coming from a D1 school with plenty of visibility, I have to imagine that if he was even the tiniest bit talented he would have been drafted. That said, if he could be a productive asset on defense, he would take up almost no cap space and let the Kings shift Cousins to PF, which would be great for them.

Funny that you mention, because there is a Royal Delhi Palace in Woodland Hills that is the best Indian restaurant I've been to. Perhaps the same owner?

Indian food is pretty amazing, but you just better be hungry and make sure you don't eat too much, or else you'll be wanting to go to sleep pretty soon.

As far as Bhullar, he only averaged 10 and 7 in college. If you're 7'6, and you're only getting 7 rebounds in college competition, something isn't right.

The best thing he could do is to try and drop 60 lbs, to get to 300. He'll probably turn into a poor man's Sean Bradley.
