It's always great to watch greats play the game. To have one of the goats in all of sports play for your favorite team... Its just amazing. I'm glad I got to watch him in person 8 or 9 times.
What I loved more than his pure god given talent was the mentality. The hard work, the fearlessness, the passion for the game. It is the reason I never really ragged on him too much despite some of his faults. No matter what you thought about Kobe, NO ONE wanted to win as bad as he did and no one worked harder to achieve that goal.
I'm going to cry like a baby when he retires. |
