Well those religions aren't exactly (bleep) out mass terrorist groups posting beheading videos on Youtube.
When's the last time you saw a video of a Jew beheading a Pakistani journalist? |
To be fair, members of every religion get up to some pretty scandalous stuff. You could just as easily say:
"When was the last time you saw a Muslim blow up an abortion clinic or kill a doctor?"
Or
"When was the last time you saw a Budhist drop military bombs on women & children?"

This is false equivalency.
If you compare the STATISTICS of crimes or poll for people of different religions for their opinions of such heinous acts against heathens or apostasy, you will see that there is a vast difference.
Also throughout history, there have been peaceful ideologies/religions such as Confucianism, certain sects of Buddhism, Jainism, etc.
Not every religion has gone through periods of extreme violence like the Inquisition for Christianity. |
