We've been in the lab all spring and summer. He's a freshmen this year at a D1 school and playing JV soccer so he's busy. Who knows if he makes the team at only 5'2" so far but the skills are there.
This from last weekend is a peek. He plays pickup ball at Ohio State and has been doing his thing.

LOL. If I knew it would work....
Ironically, he just had his physical today. Doctor still expects him to be 5'10"- 6'1", just hasn't hit puberty yet.
Had a few friends that were similar, when I was younger (as far as growth spurt). Unfortunately for me, I had my growth spurts early, between 5-8th grade, so by the time I entered my Freshman year of High School, was already close to my current height at 5'5-5'6. So my last days playing organized ball were Freshman year. After coaches told me that they can't keep me on for JV because they needed height, never wanted to play organized ball again. _________________ Just chill and watch the new Dynasty evolve...
Time for the Lakers to create a whole new legacy! We want 10 more trophies boys!
So - last couple of years have been an adventure for my son. TL;DR version - now a junior ended up transferring schools to go to a stronger academic school and has a coach who wants to give him the PG keys to allow him be a playmaker and not just a shooter. Excited for this season to start. Here is a little bit from one tournament this past AAU season.
He's now 5'6 at 16. Still hasn't quite his full puberty yet (no facial, arm hair, etc..) So still hoping for that 4"+ jump.
