|
|
The latest in his series of seemingly narcissistic acts:
Quote: | LeBron James may be done talking about Enes Kanter, but Kanter had one more message for the four-time MVP on Tuesday: You're not the king of New York.
The morning after James engineered a fourth-quarter comeback in a road win over the Knicks, he published a post on Instagram suggesting that he was the king of the Big Apple. |
Quote: | Kanter, who had to be separated from James during a skirmish in Monday night's loss to the Cavs, said James can't hold that title.
"We've already got a king; it's Kristaps Porzingis," Kanter said at practice on Tuesday. "Sorry about that."

Maybe, just maybe, if Lebron had been playing for the Knicks and delivered a world championship to Manhattan this would be acceptable. But since he didn't, it's just another attempt to brand and market himself as being bigger and better than he really is.

I keep telling you guys that Lebron is trolling the basketball world. And likely enjoying the heck out of it. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

was listening to NBA radio today on Sirius XM...not sure who was talking, but they were talking about the way Lebron is "really" viewed around the league in locker rooms compared to previous stars.
They estimated that Curry is probably the least respected superstar in the NBA by his peers.....but they also pointed out that most players see Lebron as corny and phony....even heard players refer to him as immature for his social media bs. It was spoke about in contrast to guys like Kobe, Duncan, Jordan, etc.....who they claimed were respected and revered in every NBA locker room. |

Why would Curry be the least respected? |

In the first awards given out by NBA players two years ago, the players voted Lebron as the guy they secretly wanted on their team, and Curry as the guy who was hardest to guard and most clutch.
Last year, the players voted Curry as MVP and best clutch performer, while Lebron was again voted the player they secretly wanted on their team and the best social media follow.
So I'd say both guys are highly respected by their peers. |

Kanter is one of those borderline all-stars that talks trash and picks fights with superstars to hype his reputation (similar to Joakim Noah) since his game cannot deliver on its own. With that said, doesn't LeBron consider himself the King of the NBA? How is this news if he's applying his longstanding belief to NY? |
