I definitely plan on getting the PC version this year since they say its the ONE/PS4 version with better graphics. Well not for me I probably will only be able to get the medium settings on it with my PC unless I upgrade my old video card. I was able to play watch dogs smoothly on medium so I probably should be fine.
I don't have a xbox one or PS4 so not really interested in Live as of now.
I'm still hoping they do a 2K that lets you play all of Kobe's greatest moments, that's be a lot of content.
Most likely will happen during his retirement year. ESPN can say whatever they want, they have for 2 decades, but Kobe retiring will be a major event for the league, and there's no way EA/2K won't pay tribute in some way. _________________ -Avenue of the Champions- -RIP Dr Buss- #824
I want EA to step up with Live, but I'm probably going 2K again this year.
Live could sell a lot of copies overseas by just rating Jeremy Lin as a top player before the season even starts.
I bought Live 14 after PNP's review, and wow I regretted it. Thank god Best BUy was offering $40 on trade in when I took it back. Soon after the trade in value went down to $5, for next gen. Lowest trade in I ever seen.

PNP was championing Live years ago, and it it was after that year, they decided to have a gap year to "work" on the game.

2k15 is looking like it might be the best 2k game yet. All these improvements for the "MyLeague" have me excited.
I got the PS4 version of 2k14 and I was very disappointed.
The PS3 version of 2k14 was much better.
2k14 on next gen seemed to have been rushed and the focus was more on animations, graphics and VC use.
I'm hoping they improve the gameplay as well. In next gen 2k14, there was no defense. All of the games I play have a FG% of 60-70%. It's too easy to score.
I was surprised how my concerns never came up in my "research" when i was looking if it was worth getting next gen 2k.
I had tried to enter this code a few days ago but I guess it didn't work in my area. Tried it just now and it worked and took 25% off. It charges your card right away though unlike your usual pre-orders which waits till they ship it. The code expires on 9/12/14.
In previous years yes when it was a watered down old gen version. The PC version this year has every feature of the One/PS4 versions and better graphics. The PC version is now $60.
I've played NBA 2k15 a little on PC. So far I really like it. The graphics are really good even with my crappy video card.
I haven't really dove into all the game modes, but I could see myself spending a lot of time in MyTeam mode. I probably will start mycareer in a little bit. Hopefully I can get on the Lakers.
Also ill add there have been a few crashes so far. Hopefully that is smoothed over with a patch or video card driver upgrade.

FYI, the ps4 version is hosed. Cannot play anything other than the intro finals rematch game between the spurs/heat. Some have suggested that it is still installing, but it says 53GB under information for the game (the full size of the game). Also, i am using the disc-based version and have applied the update.
Edit: full game working now. took hours to unlock the other features.

What GPU?
I have a gfroce GTS 450 1gb memory. Intel i5-4570. 12gb ddr3 memory.
It doesn't max out the settings. I have to put texture and crowd detail at medium with player detail at high at 1440x900 resolution. So it can run around 40 to 49 fps. Sometimes it drops to 28 to 30 fps but I heard that happens to everyone even with the best rigs. Usually after a basket when it shows a replay or them walking back up the court the frame rate drops to around 30 but goes back to the 40s for the gameplay.
The video card is what keeps me from maxing it out. Would buy another one but NBA 2k15 looks good at these settings for me.
Waiting for the IGN review. _________________ A banana is killed every time a terrible thread or post is made. Save the bananas. Stop creating terrible posts!
