Mittens has said he isn't running several times, but he probably will since the Republicans really have nobody worth electing to the Presidency.

He's already lost to McCain and Obama. Is the 3rd time the charm?

If I were Romney and the Republican party approached me to run I would tell them to kiss my ass. They screwed up any possible chance he had to win last time.

Probably not. Don't see why he would go thru the hassle a 3rd time in a row.

I think he screwed himself with the remarks he made.

Clinton name though does drag her down in the polls. My sis in-law works at the Clinton foundation and she thinks Hillary is getting ready. While it seems like a done deal, there will be other challengers in the party who do not want Clinton 2.0 and may look to people like Elizabeth Warren.

That's what's so disturbing to me. Bill left the country in better shape than it's been since, who? He was in office when the budget was last balanced.

Clinton presided over the longest period of peacetime economic expansion in American history.

So he was horny, so was JFK, Jefferson and other good leaders.

If she ran on his record not his sexual escapades, in my best Martin Lawrence voice I ask, WHAT DA PROBLEM IS?

LOL .... if she got the nomination, they may as well give up.

Don't know why but her nomination conjures McCain choosing Palin.

I couldn't agree more. Have you noticed what the office has done to Obama's hair.

Palin? Where on earth did you get that idea?

Elizabeth Warren is intelligent and happens to be one of the most respectable people in American politics right now. Here's a speech she just gave on regulation of campaign finance.

Think Clinton will still be the front runner. Most name recognition and paid her dues.

I'm fully aware of her qualifications.

Maybe he can run on a platform claiming Obamacare was his idea, since it basically followed the Massachusetts plan and has been fairly successful this far with none of the dire warnings issued by the Republicans coming to pass. Rate hikes have been fairly flat after 20 straight years of near double digit growth, enrollment turned out decently, and even the last state holdouts to expanded Medicaid seem to be giving in. Shockingly, Obamacare didn't destroy our country.

Romney would run into the same problem as before: anything that would make him electable in the general would doom him in the primary.

That was my reasoning for him telling the Republican party to shove it if they approached him. Governor Romney I might think about voting for, Presidential candidate Romney no way.

The problem for Romney is that he couldn't run on the couple good things he had going for him (perceptually), but even without that problem, his lack of charisma and the fact that he's far more conservative and corporate than he tried to sell probably doom him. He got out of being the governor because he was going to get killed in a reelection bid. He was veto happy and obstructionist and became very unpopular.

It doesn't really matter. The GOP is so out of touch with current America that whoever they trot out will lose.

The republican party is broken as far as general elections go.
