They are just guessing with those ratings. I'd be more interested in his ratings in 2000 and 2001. I wouldn't be surprised if they were way off, especially in 2000. |

I used to care about overall ratings when building a team in assoc. mode, now I just put it together based on their specific skill ratings. Looking into overall rating numbers isn't fun. |

Should be 96 based on how he's going to do. _________________ "We are the goodest." - Shaq ESPN interview |

I think there is only a few 90+ overalls in 2k15. 89 seems ok. They also changed the ratings formula so can't really compare it to last year.
Top ratings revealed so far below.
98- LeBron James
95- Kevin Durant
90- Tim Duncan
89- Kevin Love
88- Tony Parker, Dirk Nowitzki, Russell Westbrook |

I must admit, I hated the recent basketball games because my Lakers sucked. Doesn t help that NBA games have been garbage.

lebron still a 98 after being shut down by leanord is a joke....he should've never gotten more than a 95 to begin with. whats the highest kobe's ever been rated? 97 in his absolute prime, right? ish is blasphemous. |

I thought that they'd rate him lower, TBH. Hopefully his play this upcoming season gets him into the 90s again, maybe by the time a roster update comes by. |

4 straight NBA finals appearances. That's why Lebron cramped up. Not saying Leonard had nothing to do with it, but if you have to defend LBJ it helps to have him worn down to begin with. |

Sounds about right. I would've guessed they'd have him lower.
Also looks like 2k thinks we got a steal in Jordan Clarkson, usually those 2nd round guys are in the low 60's/high 50's. JC's a 70. |

I remember something like that as well. Him, Tracy McGrady and Allen Iverson were all in the high 90s for almost all the 2K games until 2K6 or so. It was so easy to go off for 80 points during those years... |

Depends how you look at the game. Some people t hink a prime Lebron is better then a prime Kobe. Lakers fans will go with Kobe and Fans of lebron will go with him. |

I love beating people with the Lakers bench in last year's 2K. Cause in the game the bench was healthy and was an advantage over a lot of teams if you knew how to play it right. |

I haven't played every years version but Kobe has always been the highest rated player and he is unstoppable in those games. He can do everything he does in real life but he does it while shooting 60-70% from the field. |

When you are at the level that Lebron James is supposedly at the player you are matched up against should NEVER EVER get finals MVP on you. |
