Dwight Howard Has His Driver's License Suspended in Florida After Running 10 Red Lights
A month ago, Dwight Howard got his driver's license suspended in Florida for running a red light, his 10th such infraction in a little over two years (note: he ran nine in 2012 alone). Odds are he doesn't give a (bleep), since he now plays in Houston. But it should give Texas drivers pause before pulling out into intersections and easing into a left turn when the light switches from yellow to red, because clearly Dwight doesn't give a (bleep) about traffic lights either.
The license was also revoked due to an overdue fine that he hasn't paid. That's because Dwight doesn't seem to give a (bleep) about other traffic laws. He has a dozen citations for not paying tolls, four speeding tickets, and also failed to change his address on his Florida license (it happens). Just know if you look in your rearview mirror and see this you'd better be ready to keep it moving or risk getting your trunk caved in.
If Dwight wants to get his license back he'd need to pay a $285 fine.
It's hard for him to see with his head jammed against the roof of the car.
it's probably harder to see those florida stop lights when you're in texas playing a basketball game
thank goodness he's gone. tickets/fines are one thing...
but who wants a franchise player that flies around todo it during halftime!
No wonder he's gone.

Dwight Howard doesn't pay fine for car he wasn't driving after being fined several times for not coming to a complete stop when turning right by a camera.
And only one of these is said not to care about the law.

I still dont get how a 28 year old man forgets/ignores his simple duties like going to the dmv or paying off tickets. _________________ Don't let perfect be the enemy of good

Wow you are defending Howard and Harden in every thread. You a Rockets fan?

Maybe Dwight is simply unlucky and came at the wrong time. Shaq wasn't the most mature guy on earth, but he was lucky that Phil came along. Okay, Dwight and Kobe doesn't sound quite as powerful. But in Dwight's defense, he played well in the Portland series this past year. Can't really expect too much more from him. But he's the face of those Rox, and deserves his share of the blame. _________________ Smrek 2, Nevitt 1, Barkley 0

He probably just waits until its time to renew his registration, and the DMV tells him the amount he owes on unpaid tickets.
The bigger question is how does he run 10 run lights.
Hopefully most of those happened in the early morning hours when nobody was around. These don't seem to draw as much anger as drunk driving, but obv can be as deadly. _________________ Smrek 2, Nevitt 1, Barkley 0

There are some horrible fatalities that result from running red lights in the early morning.

Yes he is. That is allowed. _________________ “We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.” ― Elie Wiesel

If I had as much money as Dwight, I know I'd be running some red lights. Not flying down Main Street going 60 mph into traffic or anything but the stupid lights around my area that will stay red for 5 minutes when absolutely no one is coming in any direction. I know some officer would be off in the bushes somewhere waiting to give me a $400 ticket if I ever decided to let common sense overrule a brainless signal. I hope that's what he's doing and he isn't actually putting people in danger. Steve brought up a good point though, if he has been caught 10 times, how many has he actually run?
