It's time to make a list of the guys that are going to eat crow once Kobe silences them this season. This is in no particular order. Let me know if I'm forgetting anything. This is Kobe's fuel so this is important.
1) ESPN leaves Kobe out of the top 10 Shooting Guards.
2) Soccer Coach Jurgen's saying Kobe contract undeserved: "This always happens in America.Kobe Bryant, for example -- why does he get a two-year contract extension for $50 million? Because of what he is going to do in the next two years for the Lakers? Of course not. Of course not. He gets it because of what he has done before. It makes no sense. Why do you pay for what has already happened?"
2) NBA 2K15 Will rank Kobe only at an 89...not in the 90s like old man role player(not even an All-Star) Duncan, Durant, or Lebron.
3) Klay Thompson's people say he is the best shooting guard(even better than Kobe).
4) Lebron leaves Kobe out of his Mt. Rushmore, does not join Lakers in free agency.
5) Bosh, Wade, and Carmelo does not join Lakers and Kobe in free agency.
5) NBA GM(likely Dan Gilbert): "Kobe has zero trade value."
6) Steve Nash: Kobe is a "a**hole*
7) Dwight Howard leaves the Lakers to join Harden.
8) Pau Gasol leaves for the Bulls to Join Derrick Rose.
9) Kevin Durant says Allen Iverson is the best pound for pound player of all time(not Kobe who is).
10) Dwyane Wade says Kobe is "Second best all time."

OP you have some optimism. Frankly, I don't share that with you. After the return from achllies injury, a lot of people were saying he was going to shut everyone up. Yet he broke his knee 6 games later. God forbid, but Kobe has a lot of miles in his body, who knows how it will hold up.
I think Kobe's primary fuel is within, not external. What else drives him to put his body through hell? It's his inner drive. Even if no one criticized him he'd still be Kobe.
And that's why he's Kobe and others aren't. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

No I think it does bring added fuel to the fire. He said it himself in a lot of interviews, but look at this video at the 45 second mark...

lets add ringdinger to that list: "when you've taken the most shots than anyone in the NBA history at 36 years of age, you better have scored the most points!"

I was corrected as he hadn't taken the most shots, but rather, he has more misses than anyone in NBA history.
But I don't get it ... any player, no matter what is name is, if he took more shots than anyone else, he should have the points -- right? That's not a jab, that's just ... common sense.
lol, Durant also complimented Kobe not a long time ago. I never read or saw anything that suggested that he has not the utmost respect and admiration for Kobe. Also, i would argue that the only guy that nba players will put above Kobe as a one on one guy is Jordan. No one else in the history of the game is really that close.

11. Koby is fueled Knowing that Jegs will not go to sleep on any single day until he has catalog at least three perceived insults against Kobe
The ESPN one is the only one that should be on the list, imo. The rest are either nonsense that the OP is overreacting to, or pretty much on point.
Since when does ESPN power rankings get under your skin, especially after you factor in all the mileage and the back to back seasons that were shortened by injury.
Absolutely NONE of these fuel Kobe, certainly not now.

SMH.
Join me as "fuel." That's what the "rational" folks appear to be doing. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals
