non-guaranteed make good contract probably. Was a good defender at the PG position. But that's about it. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals
Why don't we just sign Smush? Same caliber of player... DARK TIMES... _________________ “There are no limits. There are plateaus, but you must not stay there, you must go beyond them. If it kills you, it kills you. A man must constantly exceed his level.” ―Bruce Lee
Price will likely not make the team. Training camp fodder. I think Ellington is likely the 14th player. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals
Q: How much of that final 17 minutes [of the Jazz's last Playoff game] was “Hey, you forgot about me and I’m proving to you what I could have brought?”
Ronnie Price: It was more ‘I hate the Lakers‘ and I wanted to…it was more about that. It had nothing to do with trying to prove a point to Coach or anything like that. I just like getting my name called and like being on the court and having a chance to compete, especially against a team I can’t stand.
But it's the one Jazz poet Deron Williams uses to put a wrap on his feelings about the Los Angeles Lakers — as in, I hate those guys!, or, more precisely, I hate those %#$@&$% guys! — and who can blame him?
Kobe and the Lakers have given the ubercompetitive Williams the heave-ho in each of the past three postseasons, dashing his dreams without giving so much as a sniff of respect in return. Only defeat and elimination.
The playoff record over that span: 12 losses, three wins, a hundred sleepless nights.
Williams has had his fill.
"I hate 'em, you know," he said the other day. "I hate the Lakers. They're so good. I hate them because they win all the time. They're a tough team. We definitely talk about it. It's not a secret. We hate the Lakers."

I don't think this is non-guaranteed, or else LGD wouldn't have bothered making a thread about the signing... or else he could have done the same for Jabari Brown/Roscoe Smith and others who were invited to camp... this is probably a partial guaranteed contract.. similar to what Ellington got.
wow....with michael beasley available and our weakest area being small forward, we go ahead and sign ronnie price and wayne ellington. dont get me wrong, theyre not bad acquisitions. but the upside of signing beasley would have been far greater. sucks.

The Los Angeles Lakers have agreed to a one-year minimum contract deal for veteran point guard Ronnie Price, two people with knowledge of the situation told USA TODAY Sports.
So yes the contract is guaranteed.... I'm guessing our next move is gonna be a trade .... cause a lot of players on the roster currently are gonna want minutes we need to solve that issue.

Not really. The article doesn't mention guarantees. At this point of the season, at best, you get a partial guarantee and most commonly, a make-good contract for training camp.
All contracts are basically coined a "one year minimum contract" at this point until we see the actual paperwork.
As for trades, teams go into camp with 18-20 people. 4-6 of those players do not have guaranteed contracts so no need for a trade. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals
