I was looking forward to a 4 door GTR since 4 doors are more practical than a 2 door and I was hoping for a price drop on them because usually 4 doors are cheaper than the 2 door variant. Not in this case because this car will not be going into mass production.
if this car was in the range of 70K I would definitely picked one up when it comes out...

lmao.
i can buy a used lambo or an R8 for that.
or used current gen S class AMG probably soon.
Well ya... But the point of this is the hand built gtr engine that gets put into a 4 door sedan. That engine and tranny alone probably cost more than a lexus is350
I don't know man. Once you get into the six figures, you need to bring more than just the motor as the selling point. Legacy, looks and I hate to say it, cachet all need to be on point.
On top of that, the thing looks like a Volvo. Not bad certainly but not worth that asking price.

If you cared about performance over everything, then you would get a GTR.
If you cared about performance but with some creature comforts, you might get a Tesla Model S.... This car is a tough proposition for me at least.

Maybe some of you disagree.
This car won't be a tough sell if it were priced right around. 60-70k.
Bought a 2008 Ford Expedition off the showroom floor when it was new. It loaded and I think $56K out the door. Now the thing is paid for and I still love it. Has 62K miles on it. I plan on keeping it until it has 200K. I'm good. _________________ “It took many years of vomiting up all the filth I’d been taught about myself, and half-believed, before I was able to walk on the earth as though I had a right to be here.”

That car is nice. But if we're talking four door performance cars, like the first post said, the Charger Hellcat doesn't play around considering price. _________________ "I'm Magic before retirement, illest in the game."

Lots of horsepower per dollar. I wouldn't want to shred the tires so much.
If I had money to blow, Audi RS7 Dynamic Package.
Less than $100k,
Audi A7 Prestige TDI. Upgrade the brakes, suspension, and wheel/tire combo later. _________________ Resident Car Nut.
That's a sick ride. Only if jag drops the xk line up and puts this car into mass production with 2+2 option. I would see people picking these up over the panamera
you don't need all that power, just get a Q50S, nicely equipped for ~45k _________________ Phil Jackson (June 17th, 2009):"What was our model of this team? The Ring, the ring, that was the model. the q50s hybrid is the fastest q50 on the market and the fastest hybrid on the market... have you driven one of em?
nah, maybe next time if I take the car to the dealer for some service (have a 08 G35x; getting 17/24 MPG, a blemish to what is otherwise a amazing car) _________________ Phil Jackson (June 17th, 2009):"What was our model of this team?
