Tim Lincecum, a couple of years ago he was one of the premier pitchers in baseball, now he's being reduced to pitching in the equivalent of garbage time in the World Series....

Inconsistent and hes approaching the wrong side of 30.

He still has the nasty stuff, threw a no hitter this year. When hes on he still a pleasure to watch.

Not watching the World Series, but would love Maddon for the Cardinals. Heck he grew up a Cardinals fan!

3 straight nlcs appearances in his first 3 yrs as manager, cards would be fools to let matheny go.

Matheny to pitching coach, he's a former catcher. I wanted Maddon when La Russa retired.

Yeah I know he's a catcher use to be one for the Giants and it's exactly why I think he will continue to succeed. More and more MLB teams looking like they are going to the route of hiring ex catchers and managers, sometimes it doesn't work out but when it does you might end up with a joe Torre or Bruce Bochy. I think Cards found another one of the ex catcher turned managers gems.

Man, Vogey and Hudson were such trash during the regular season. I don't know how it's possible for them to get this much better during the playoffs.

Hopefully they hold on. I don't have a good feeling though. Giants have been known to come back.

3-0 KC. Eric Hosmer had a great 11 pitch at bat.

If KC wins this game, I wouldnt mind a back door sweep all in SF ala Lakers vs the Sixers in 2001.

Morse with a hit down the line RBI double. 3-1. Time to go to the pen. Hopefully, they can bring it home.

The Giants are the better team. It's pretty obvious at this point.
