35 wins isn't something to think twice about. If you're a pessimist and think this team isn't doing anything, you shouldn't have a problem with 35. Last year, we had one of the worst records in LA history, and that was 27. This year is only 8 games above that.

I don't understand all the negativity in the lounge and then hardly anyone takes the under.

PUT YOUR MONEY WHERE YOUR MOUTH IS!! Or shut the heck up with the negativity!

Sounds like taking it down and replacing it is the winner. Anyone who objects to that please weigh in before late tonight.

35 is a really good o/u. For me, it's going to be right there. I'll take the under though.

I think 35 was a good choice, seeing how it matched mine, and considering it is 4 beyond Vegas and below most of the fans who tend to be optimistic.

But seeing how this is going, raising it to some equidistant point of the predictions would also make sense. The problem here is that too many are saying over or under without a specific prediction, which also, would seem to make it hard to determine the amount owed.

Sorry guys, was busy. I will reboot this thing today. 39.5 seems to be the number.

Whoa. How'd you get this?

I thought Vegas was around the 31, 32 line?

Then get 20 people to bet under.

Maybe you should emphasize that we are to choose a number to go with our over or under.

I'll stick with my 35, now an under, in the new reset pool, and if a new thread is started, restate it there.

Yeah. I have no clue re: betting lines. So the line will now be 39.5? I cast my "over" vote for 35 games. 39.5 is a bit too high for me and my $10.

How about you move the line and don't restart... just allow those who want to change their minds to do so... perhaps put a note in the title announcing the line moved.

Alpha, the lazy has spoken.

All over the under if it's 39.5. I'd consider 40+ wins a success by this roster and would gladly fork over the money.

But calling the under at 35 and then "eating crow" at 36 wins would be some bitter-ass crow.

That is not how it works. You take either over or under, and then pay 2 bucks for every game on the "wrong" side of the line. So if the line is 39, and you bet under, you would pay $2 for each win over 39.
