Quote: | Chicago will host 2015 NFL draft
The NFL draft has a new date -- and a new home.
Next year's draft will be at the Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University in Chicago from April 30 to May 2.
The Chicago Bears confirmed the news in a tweet Thursday. Yahoo! Sports was first to report the location.
The draft will be a week earlier than last year and a week later than normal.
Los Angeles was the other contender to replace New York City as the home of the draft, which became a necessary move due to Radio City Music Hall -- the traditional venue -- being unavailable. |

Still can't believe that the 2nd largest market in the US doesn't have a NFL team |

Dude blocks every stadium proposal L.A. comes up with. I think his beef with TMZ after they exposed him in the Ray Rice is a part of why he dissed L.A. again. |

I think a leadership change at the top is the only way LA stands of getting an NFL team. Remember the NFL rewarded LA with a team under Tagliabue, but the city of LA kept on insisting they play at the remodeled Coliseum so they ended up giving Houston the team. |

A good reason to hope that he will be forced to step down once he testifies about the Ray Rice incident.
I also think that the Clippers sale had a huge impact on the NFL rethinking LA.....if they had a team in LA, the values for each NFL team would increase so the owners have an incentive to finally get a team out here. |

Goodell will continue to use LA as leverage for current cities to pony up on updates or new stadiums. If he survives the Rice ordeal, its going to be hard to get him out of there. |

The owners want their team values to skyrocket which is why they aren't blocking any attempts to move to LA any longer. |
