I like Davs and Hill far more than Sacre. But I think Sacre plays a useful role .

When a team sends a big banging center our way, don't expect Davis or Hill to be able to wear them down. Sacre though wll.

Some Raptor fans are still upset that Davis left... I think he could have turned into a really good player if he had stayed in TOR... now he's on another team that will give him a opportunity.

For the love of god will some of you stop posting one line insults of players on our team?

Yeah, Davis is looking like a keeper; we'll see in time...

Playoff Rotation is:

Lin
Kobe
Wes
Boozer
Davis

first off bench is Swaggy, then Randle, Hill and Nash.

Clarkson spot minutes if needed.

After seeing B Scott out Hill and Sacre on the high post, i guess so the wing players have room to penetrate, I'm convinced that Ed Davis needs to replace Boozer. There has to be an inside presence. Davis is about the best big they have inside right now. Hill or Sacre on the high post does nothing. they can only shoot a 15 ftr or pass from there. Would work with Pau but not with these two.

Robert Sacre is one of the worst players in the NBA. We're better off cutting Sacre and signing Bynum.

If Ed Davis is not a starter by Christmas I'm going to consider Byron a bad coach.

But I have faith that Byron will see what I see in Davis.

I think Davis is going to be the key to a playoff birth, he needs at least 30 minutes a game.

In his defense, he did say around "Christmas."

For the last two seasons, Davis peaked in December and January. Several games he had double-double.

With our situation, it is possible he will start in many games. Most likely PT is about 25-30 minutes.

Right now he is only playing 15 minutes a game. I really think he is our best player; if he gets 35 a game he could change our season.

^He won't get 35 min a game. He probably won't even start the majority of the games. What does need to and will happen, IMO, is he will eventually finish the games in the 4th quarter when the games usually tighten up. He's our best defensive big right now...

I would be ecstatic if Davis got 30mpg. Trade Hill for a SF, give Davis the starting C job and give Sacre 18mpg off the bench. We aren't contending so we need to see how they do with larger roles. I know a lot of people hate Sacre's game but we can bring him back for the min with our team option next year, so it makes all the sense in the world to play him a lot this year when it doesn't matter and see if he is our backup C for next year.

Davis should do slip screens with kobe where then he could dump it in to hill. I suggested in an earlier post with Randle slipping the screen to dump it into Davis where Kobe gets hockey assist.

So literally no one that has been touting that Davis should be our starting center has anything to say when Jordan Hill with his legs gets 12/14 on 28 minutes?
